I've never fought this unique monster before, so I don't know what the usual experience is.
all I know is that as I fought it. it just keeps summoning more monsters, which I would kill, only so that it would devour it and thus it never drop its health less than 50% percent. so the battle felt like it was never-ending struggle between me drink, health potions and it devouring corpses. it got to the point which the entire floor was covered in corpse causing my computer frame rate issue, so I just exited the game.

I suggest increasing whatever timer this unique monster uses so that it summon monster less frequently
or removing it devour ability entirely.

I ran both Starforge and Debeon's on PoB, Debeon edges out by like 10% if you can keep frost orb up permanently on your target
Alternatively, you could get Tul's Pandemonius amulet and use arctic armour to drop chilled ground as you cyclone, you have a lot of unreserved mana since you'll probably don't need anything besides herald of ice

Warcry node is decent, 40% More is always good. And if your Zerker is Dark Pact HP stacker, the 10% Increased Damage mod is negligible.

It's probably bis for an unironic bleed build and reasonable with tradeoffs for brutality melee but it competes with belly kaoms.

This axe has the advantage of its conversion jewel having a large radius vs fireborn which is just medium though
