I found a half buried (but completely intact and sound) 1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible. it was probably stolen as it had no engine or transmission and had been sitting down a bunch for some 30 years. Btw its in Cali so it didn't have rot or any other problems with the quality of the metal. So I actually sold it to some guy in LA who had been looking for one his whole life (dude was almost 60) he was so happy when he got it out. A year later the tree above it fell and if they guy hadnt pulled it out, it would jave literally flattened out this rare car. Btw it costs around $200,000 restored. I would show pics but the file is too large.

Follow up. The guy who towed it out had a coupe that he was sawing the roof off so he didn't need to look for parts. He just stopped that project and started on the abandoned one I found. Funny how far you can get into modifications of a car you wanted your whole life and then find an original in pretty rough, but not unrestorable, shape.

theres a good chance a lot of the super cars covered in dust are just in dubai or abu dhabi after a sandstorm and somebody took a picture. Cars get fucking filthy there and you actually get tickets for not cleaning your car it gets that dusty.

I have to find both fender trim pieces they're cracked (and the right side one flew off at 90mph) and I plan on repainting it in the factory Performance White

Mechanically it's almost perfect, but I need to find new door panels for it and black 93 door panels are almost impossible to find any more. It has full Alpine audio which I installed, and the shift ball is a #6 pool ball I found on eBay for 20 bucks

It's a work in progress but it went from a clusterfuck to a decent car in a couple weeks. The a/c is ice cold too after I replaced almost half of the system. I had to do the compressor, both return lines, condenser and evap, it also got a timing belt and water pump, both drive belts, new tires and alignment, coolant flush, tstat, upper and lower hoses, oil cooler hoses and lift struts, both radiator caps, battery, 9 check engine lights cleared replacing a bunch of bad sensors, this thing really was a mess.

There's a bunch of other stuff I'm missing probably.
