at the very least, it lets me know what i reach a good operating temp in winter

I found out the reset for my check engine light, the manufacturer cant fool me! The check engine light on modern vehicles is like a slot machine, you may or may not have engine problems but you end up spending a lot of money for nothing in return. I know for the 2014 dodge 1500 its 1. Hold down key in start position but don't turn on truck, 2. Press brake and accelerator pedal two times each. Boom done. Yaint foolin me!

get a new o2 connector with pigtail and soldier it on.

the wires have been torn off inside the o2 sensor, inside the metal housing. no way to solder and get a solid connecttion

Do you know what the code was? The rear o2 shouldn't affect mileage, it's only for checking cat efficiency. Maybe the front o2?
