Vaporwave and Synthwave!
I discovered this Youtube channel two months ago, it's Vaporwave/Synthwave mixed with old 70s/80s/90s car promo and Racing/Drift videos.
I always jam his playlists when i am cruising after midnight.

Depeche Mode is good. Kind of dark and gloomy, but still somewhat “active”

Chill on Sirius channel 53.
listening to the 24/7 lo fi stream on youtube right now
>inb4 depressed teenager
Oh yeah, I loved that station. It's what I mostly listened to. I don't have it anymore, though. Chillout Radio on Pandora is a good substitute.

If you ever want Sirius again, remember that you should never pay full price. You should be able to get the all access plan for between $120 and $140 per year if you pay up front. And tell them you don't want them to set up auto renewal. They're also running another one of the packages at $5 a month for 6 months right now.

Still better than the fake 80's garbage.
Synthwave, but the more BUNKA BUNKA BUNKA "driveable" kind like Miami Nights 1984 or this one:
...
>actual 80s garbage with literally minutes of guitar wanking per song
>only the best elements of the 80s aesthetic beautifully produced into something listenable
Okay, thanks.
Shit taste bruh, fake 80's shit is no talent hack music for kids who don't know any better. Your post reeks of ignorance so I have to believe I'm right.
Choke on a toothpick.
I plan on buying this for my car eventually
graphic equalizers are the best
apparently the kenwood are too finiky to get working again though. But they do look good.
Lofi, Initial D soundtracks, Metal
my dude
>dadrock and synthshit are the only genres
>driving to work at 22:30
>3200 rpm at 60 mph
i need metal to cover up road and engine noise
usually heavy ass doom metal or psychedelic rock if im cruising, yurobeet if im getting hektik

this guy fixed mine. expensive but worth it for the right unit.
5 minutes to that weed druid album and I'm really digging it.

Somehow got tired of the Hotline Miami soundtracks. Thank Basegod for remixes
Objectively wrong.
They're both good.
Dadrock is great until you ultimately outgrow it.
Nice try, Two Face.
What is this fake 80s garbage you speak of?
I DON'T SEE DEADCRUISER, user!
B-But user, I disconnected Sirius in my car and replaced it with an aux jack!
every time.

I like just about all of Kavinsky's songs except for his rap shit.

Dadrock can be ok, especially the 90's stuff like Alice and Chains and Soundgarden.
Fake 80's is mostly lazy trash bandwagon jumping electronic "artists". It's about it sounding 80's rather than sounding good. It's not even a good 80's, they make it overly so, it comes out cheesy, more like an 80's parody. Anyone who actually likes 70s-80s era synth music probably hates the shit.

Sure there may be more that's good and not awful meme music that people got into because they watched some shitty movie.
Good taste
this is basic bitch low-tier
Lots of types of dadrock. "Classic" rock if you want to be official about it.
Not all of it, only certain songs are good for driving.
But mostly the same retrowave/synthwave as everyone else. I really don't like vaporwave that much though as it doesn't seem very creative and usually sounds pretty bad. Some of it is OK. But I love retro/synthwave. I'm really glad it's caught on like it has.

Kung Fury had a great selection in their soundtrack..
I always envision this one being like a commercial straight out of the 80's or early 90's for a sort of revolutionary car like a Mercedes 124 or some Nissan with flip up lights, or maybe an old C4 Vette ad.
youtube.com
Probably my favorite retrowave/synthwave song of the ones I've downloaded.

discovered on a night drive tunes thread many a moon ago.
Because he's not a virgin autist who unironically listens to eurobeat
hey now
I think we can all agree here that nightcore is the actual worst music
anyone know any good instrumental lo-fi?
If you haven't checked out Origin by Vanilla then you don't know what you're missing
It is the best of the genre and unfortunately it's gonna stay that way, nothing has come close to the feeling this album gives. It's totally unique.
You're gonna want to download it
vanillabeats.bandcamp.com
>it's too bad he started charging for his downloads, but deserved
as far as other lo-fi hiphop then I would recommend Jinsang, Nujabes instrumentals, Tomppabeats, j^p^n, and saib instrumentals
French House
Miami Vice Soundtrack
Italo Disco
Krautrock
Techno Pop
Depends on the drive type.

Go back to le funny slav meme fb pages user. I'm glad you took the effort to look up what the translation of 'where' is in Russian though, using Google of course.
RΞOL (the group) has disbanded not long ago, though leader Reol has a solo career.
The sound of my straight pipes is my preferred music option
I have 4 cassette tapes that are in major danger of being eaten by my tape deck:
>Station to Station by Bowie
>Rebel Yell by Billy Idol
>Greatest hits by The Platters
>Leisure by Blur
>get in my red '89 japanese import miat
>GUNSHIP varsity jacket on
>wayfarers on
>the whole odyssey album on full blast
>convertible top up because I look like a larping fag and it's cold kek
>return home 4 hours later with the tank empty
I do this most weekends.
I think it being a parody of 80s sounds is intentional in some cases. I won't deny that a lot of those people are hacks, but they still have more artistic integrity than most creators of the sort of garbage that regularly tops the charts.
Anyway, if anyone here has any recommendations similar to Com Truise then I'm all ears.
Is grunge considered dadrock already?
I hear the Kings of Leon and the Killers on my local classic rock station fairly regularly. A few years ago they wouldn't even dare play Bon Jovi. I guess they really don't want to go the way of oldies stations since a lot of the "dads" are getting pretty old.
Been on an Alt-J kick lately. I also love all of Incubus' Morning View album. I also like Chevelle, mixed in with some 10 years or whoever else pops up on Pandora at the time. Also, Eurobeat of the memes.
I unironically listen to both
My playlist is all over the place

Burial is good too.
80s Synthpop
Synthwave
And European Pagan music
shameless exposure post, this music is good for cruising on the highway and occasionally stepping on the gas and making initial D faces
Because every time I hear Bob Seger come on it gives me the feels, and that's what night driving is all about.
Stuff that makes other people think it's my father's car. Fucking millennials couldn't appreciate good music if it slapped them in the face.
