Itt: we cope with the fact that the $550 mid-engine Ford GT just got raped by a $150k front engine Corvette ZR1 and offer fellow fordfags a shoulder to cry on in this tragic time.
No bullying plz.

But for $550 it ain't too bad
Modified non production car
What factory corvette comes with a roll cage?
That's a lot of car for $550. I will probably buy one tbqh
>not street legal
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
a fordfag here
I usually use these on my pussy, but they been working well to sop up my tears
just a tip for fellow ford enthusiasts like myself
>not street legal
The Ford GT doesn't even have a Nurburgring time.
Not street legal, the only type of seatbelts that a manufacturer can install in a production car are Type 1, Type 2 and Type 2a, a five point harness does not qualify for this, thus this corvette isn't street legal
The corvette zr1 isn't street legal in germany
Its not even a production car anyway
Literally impossible to buy a 2019 zr1
>2019
kek, is GM even trying???
it literally took them 3 fucking years to try to compete with the GT, which is a 2016 model
>it literally took them 3 fucking years to try to compete with the GT, which is a 2016 model
Except it's not
it is tho, sperg more
It's not
inb4 you move the goalposts
motortrend.com
>people are genuinely sperging that a car being second faster doesnt count because of a five point harness
Ford damage control is in full force tonight, isn't it
>this mad the corvette isn't street legal
just like GM cucks were sperging about the GTR Nismo seatbelt was not street legal several years ago
you can't have your cake and eat it too
>people think that americans won't just drive it on the street anyway because nobody pays attention to dumb laws
>implying i like chevy
its pretty pathetic someone would discredit a car being straight up faster because the straps are a bit different
it is irrelevant if you like it or not, the Corvette isn't street legal based on the same argument GM cucks were using several years ago
haven't seen fordfans commit suicide this hard in a while lol
Yet if you're willing to say the corvette isn't street legal, then the gtr isn't either.
>implying anyone here will ever own either of these cars
piss off already
>Prezo is being delusional again
lol
so you accept the Corvette isn't street legal then?
does street legality matter if its a fucking seat belt?
Both the Corvette and GTR aren't street legal? How did the GTR get its plates?
If you admit that the GTR isn't, sure. I don't care about the corvette.
for GM cucks it does, they sperg'd for years at the GTR seatbelts
>Waaahhhh it's not street legal.
Just because it's illegal in your shitty cuckhole doesn't make it any slower.
thats not an answer, thats a diversion for something that doesnt even matter anymore because you dont want to answer
does it matter regarding its street legality if its over a seatbelt?
>shitty cuckhole
but I am not american (where the corvette isn't street legal)
yes it matters, as the seatbelt harness could add rigidity to the body and the five point harness would safely secure the mass of the driver in one place, both of which can increase performance
>but I am not american
Gee I can hardly tell.
It IS legal in America though as is literally anything. It's only illegal in your disgusting shithole.
SRT should've included one like the GT2 RS.
>tfw even more potential left on the table for the acr
>It IS legal in America though as is literally anything.
nope, the five point harness is not DOT approved
>It's only illegal in your disgusting shithole.
lmao, I don't even know what a law is, I live in the rural 3rd world
LOL chebby stupidity muh chebby beat yew furds
chebby cuckvette
V8 and supercharger and big wing.
the ford GT V6 twin turbo. and beat chebby at lemans AND daytona.
a pissing match at normal race track with stock cars dont mean shit.
>nope, the five point harness is not DOT approved
YEah I don't think so. Plenty of people have DOT and non DOT approved harnesses. I don't see how that's relevant when that shit isn't enforced here.
>I live in the rural 3rd world
So why are you even talking to developed people?
>comparing race cars to road cars
ahhh Veeky Forums....
>Plenty of people have DOT and non DOT approved harnesses.
yes, as an aftermarket part, but manufacturers are not allowed to sell them, thus the corvette is not production, meaning the record is also irrelevant from this perspective
>So why are you even talking to developed people?
You mean why am I talking to cucked 1st worlders right? Is it true you are forced to take estrogens?
kek
>not American
The GTR Nismo that ran the ring record had a whole lot more going on than just the seat belts. It was a one of one car that was never sold to the public with an aerodynamics package that's had never been or will ever be fitted to a production car. I personally don't give two shits about lap times in cars that I'll never own, or Corvettes,GTs, or GTRs in general, but your have to compare apples to apples.
If the only thing holding it back from the record is a fucking seat belt that doesn't make it any slower.
>Is it true you are forced to take estrogens?
Probably and yet were still more manly than the fags defending a V6.
>a v6
which is faster than anything made by GM and FCA
yes, I am also a straight white male, ages between 20 and 25, studying university
anything else you want to point out for no reason whatsoever?
""White"" LOL
>white
prove it, spic
Except 1 is street legal in yuropistan and the other isn't
>harness bar and five-point harnesses make it go faster
true
Some Mexicans are light skinned, problem is that doesn't make you "white"
lurk moar, I have even posted my pink nipples
not that being white is anything special you /pol/tards
>it's another episode of "Veeky Forums decides who is white and who isn't"
>can't prove it
post proof here, right now
only if you post proof you are not a manlet, that means shoe size and pants size
as a matter of fact post some id card that shows your height, i know you americans have height data on the drivers license
>Inb4 user doesn't have one
gm fangirls so butthurt itt
literally not street legal
define manlet
>Post something that doesn’t relate to hight to prove your not a manlet
I would call you retarded but you have the average iq of a beaner.
>he needs manlet to be defined
holy shit, an actual manlet kek
Not him but 6' is the absolute limit.
thedrive.com
>Over the weekend, we reported on the Ford GT setting a lap time of 2:38.62 at Virginia International Raceway during a relatively routine diagnostic visit, inadvertently breaking the lap record there for production cars. In an email to The Drive, a Ford Performance spokesperson said the GT was able to break the record despite having "just a small support crew, less than ideal circuit conditions, and [racing driver Billy Johnson] driving the Ford GT on that track for the first time."
>We then asked whether the company had plans to go back with a full crew on a better day, with a lighter Competition Series car and a bit more motivation in order to get an even faster time. Armchair racing fans of the Blue Oval, bad news: The answer is no. No additional record-related trips to VIR. No record-related trips to the Nürburgring. No record-related trips to any track, in fact.
see >STEMlord doesn't know how to read
remember to stay in social sciences kids
>average IQ
average IQ is an irrelevant measure
What I'm wondering is if they do a Nurburgring lap time, I hope they mop up the floor with Porsche.
Ford made the Barra so ford wins
That's not true, friendo.
