Do you guys realize the car you drive that becomes your identity?

Do you guys realize the car you drive that becomes your identity?

Well yeah

I live in very small place, and thats how you recognize folks; either you see their faces or you see their cars. I probably have a much easier time because of an actual interest in cars, but I'll very easily spot a coworkers, family members, friends and so on's cars, even if there is nothing remarkable about them compared to other models. A slight discoloring in the trim, the plate, perhaps the wheels are a little different and so on

Am I autistic?

Yes and automakers know it too. Everything from the design, model name, and eventual advertising is engineered for a specific consumer. The car is merely an extension of the personality.
For example you may notice lots of new sedans have a femmy looking fascia, almost like eyes wearing mascara. And a slight smile. Safety is emphasized, but look at how much “power” you get. You’re a bad bitch.

Yeah, this thing is pretty rugged. That’s why we made the grille resemble a bulldog - because you’re a big manly man. So much power you won’t know what to do with it (really). Imagine all the shit you could tow, if you towed anything. Tough. Strong. Big.

This is a pure racer’s machine. Notice the carbon fiber? How about that fluorescent trim? Hell, we’ll even throw on a spoiler. Yeah it’s front wheel drive but that doesn’t matter. Real racers need spoilers to keep this spaceship on the ground. Comes with a free vape and unsecured subwoofer for the trunk.

Normal people get normal sedans. You’re not “normal people”. Show your superiority with a body kit built around the same car you can get for 40% less. Sure, it’s no luxury car. But you’re that much better than everyone else (at least on the outside). Precision. Elegance.

>I bet you can guess which vehicles I’m referring to

What? Is my identity a toyota corolla, or a cbr600rr? I have both.

Can you go into detail about this?

I've noticed this about some people who drive the same old 20+ year old car and for what reason???

Only if you choose to define yourself by it.
