Is the antag confirmed dead at this point?
Is the helper already detained or not resisting arrest?
If your answer to any of these is yes, you shouldn't really be hunting them down and field executing them.

A good security officer is one that attempts at least the slightest level of RP when dealing with culprits but still does the shooty bang bang job when shit gets tough.
