Hell, iM@S' descent is probably happening now, not necessarily related to the series itself, but just how anime idolshit in Japan seems to have reached its peak, and it's all downhill from here on out thanks to oversaturation of idols everywhere. TD's incredibly poor launch and reception is a sign.

Eh, I don't know about that. We just had a CG gold disc and ML gold disc only recently. Of course, it's live tickets, but that shows the level of demand for lives. While TD's launch is weak, it's still doing well at least on the first few days of a new gasha. That can keep it going for a while.
You do have a point about oversaturation, but I feel iM@S would be one of the last to die as a result of that. And mind you, this oversaturation isn't just "idols", but the 2D girl collection shit in general. Bands, horses etc will feel that heat too.
