Wing boss took the TI6 winning to invest in LoL, failed hard, and couldn't pay the salary for 2-3 months. By the time of Kiev Major, they got enough and quit, which violated their contract.

EHOME then gave them fragmented ACE (chink Kespa) group chat conversation to get 2 of them to betray the other 3 by telling them they'll get lifetime ban unless they repent and beg for forgiveness. In reality what happened was ACE told all the clubs that until they get this shit sorted out no one is allowed to touch the ex-Wings. EHOME ignored them, poached those two and left ACE. They then get eliminated by 6k chink stacks in the OQ twice in the BO1 round. The other 3 joined random stacks and didn't make it out either.

I'm dreaming of course but with so many tournaments this season I don't see why EG couldn't have a second team

Honestly TI6 Wings was hands down the best instance of DotA of all times, they had the most amazing drafts and their execution was impressive.
When TI6 ended I thought that we might never get such refined quality of play ever again, and I am mostly right so far; one could argue that top teams have all gotten better but I really think that Wings were out of this world.

I'm really happy Liquid won the way they did though, always playing with a clear and effective gameplan. However, while their drafts were really good, they didn't have that "absolute genius" vibe that Wings' had, and they didn't rely on amazingly-fought teamfights to win

I'm scared for the next patch lads. Playing pubs is so nice right now , no l broken heroes like in the past (od,sniper, bloodseeker in his prime ecc.). There are some that are strong ofc, but you can deal with them most of the time. Is icefraud going to fuck it up?
