Wear the glory, the gem drops are in addition to the paydirt drops. They add up to a decent amount of money eventually.
Get a gem bag too, saves you having to bank the gems.

Because whips are good weapons and its the only way to get strength xp with one, and strength is the only relevant melee stat past 75

but MLM is the best way to go unless Miningtodt turns out to be better - so far they've said it's profitless, non-afk and only so much better xp.

str should still always be your highest skill though
imo the optimal leveling path is always leveling str to 5 level breakpoints (20 25 30 35 etc.) and after that leveling att to the one 5 below that (so once you hit 60 str go 55 att then back to str)

There's profitable methods for mining, fast methods, and afk methods, all already in the game. Miningtodt is completely pointless.
