Can anyone rate/fix my side deck for my abc deck for meta? I'm going to regionals in 2 weeks and I want to thank you guys for the win.

2x Ally of Justice Cycle Reader
2x Pot of Acquisitiveness
1x Magnet Reverse
2x Cosmic Cyclone (debating of using Unending Nightmare instead, let me know)
2x D.D. Crow
1x Skill Drain
2x Gameciel the turtle ninja

I already have 3 Ghost Ogre, 1 Ash (I could maybe buy another one if you think I need it), 2 Effect Veiler and 1 Maxx C in the main for my hand traps. I also have 3 Twin Twisters in the main, so anything in the side is. No Kaiju's in the main, just in the side.

What are your banlist predictions? Dracos, Dinos, and probably ABC are gonna fucking die. That aside?

Because burn will never not be viable, except in metas where the meta deck happens to have anti-burn cards. (i.e. EMEm had access to Trapeze Magician)

I think Gofu is the least of your concerns if you want your ABC to survive this list. Also Level Eater's days are numbered dude.

If a series' powerplays now have an added step that requires you to go out of your way to link (or worse, link climb) that would hurt consistency when doing powerplays, for the purpose of competitive play, that series is not as appealing compared to something like Dinos or kangz which just skip all the stupid ED juggling and do the job just as well if not better because you're cutting out many middlemen.

This will actually probably be INCREDIBLY legit in LIGHT decks once we get the Hoshiningen retrain.

You' forget that the ED juggling only affect previous series' deck.
The newest series doesn't suffer that problem and can spam their ED just fine.

There's no way strikes staying at 3 if they're putting in a structure deck.
Issue is almost every deck has a pocket R4 these days and pulling back on board presence is hard when you're playing shit like Red-eyes and Toadless paleo.

Actually I'm not sure anymore. I THOUGHT they were as I heard people mention it, but I just looked at the list for Link Strike and Strike isn't in it. Dimensional Barrier is though, and that can stop Exciton before he even touches the board.

I assure you that if we had Worlds without MR4 (but with banlist), you would see Dinos winning with VFD, UCT, Naturia Beast and Dolkka on field, or Tzolkin and Crystal Wing, or Bahamut and Toad. Much more degenerate.

Then what is your point? We've had MD-centric decks be meta for the past few years: Nekroz, Monarchs, Kozmos, True Dracos. Why is MR4 necessary to make those decks more viable when they were perfectly capable of doing that before?
