Who here actually drives the slowest car?

Who here actually drives the slowest car?

You

i have a 1 liter micra and ill still beat u

my 1991 Subaru Sambar has a carbureted 660cc 4 banger with 6spd manual trans, 50hp when new so probably like 40hp now

I drive one of these, what do I win?

899cc 39hp when new

i have an 4000lb i4 diesel

Inb4 toyobabbu

I walk.

No really, I'm a diesel student living on campus. I cant really afford a vehicle right now and all I really need to do is walk or ride a bus for the time being.

I used to drive a 45hp Daewoo Matiz but now I drive a 160hp Focus

I’ll throw my hat in the ring. 100 horsepower when it was new 70 years ago, I’ve only gotten it up to 45 mph.

my respect

i'm thinking of buying a samurai

Guess my VW Polo bluemotion is not that bad after all.
It is faster than you would assume on paper too. :^)

Toyota yaris hybrid, 75 injured horses
0-100kmh in 2 business days if she feels like it, in my tires there's the word sport so I drive it like it's a lambo
It can reach 180kmh if I'm the only one inside, in a straight an plain terrain and with a lot of luck. I obviously put stickers in the back bumper in hope to add more hp

I unironically drive a 2005 Prius, I got it off my aunt when she got a CT200H and I haven't bothered to get rid of it yet because its so cheap to run

i got a 56 bug with 36hp. does about 70mph flat out

Make sure you get the optional top set of wheels for when you invariably roll over.

>4,600 lbs
>i4 N/A diesel
>It's got a 1.5 ton payload rating

Nearly 8,000 lbs and all 82hp to push it.

Ive never seen that before, its cool as fuck

With the tools and kit I usually carry, the mods and myself its easily very close to 2000kg/4400lbs

4x4, powered by a 102hp/240nm (when new) diesel engine... I can't go above 80mph

gf's 2000 honda crv is probably the slowest car ive ever driven it hates climbing hills

Ford laser 63hp

2 speed auto, 40 horsepowah

Must be terrible climbing hills

>REEEEEEEEYOOOOOOREEEEEEEEEYOOOOOOOOOO

Samurai is for soyboys that need a boxy vehicle to feel masculine, the vitara is the superior suzuki

my horizon is slow 20-50. Pretty peppy other than that.

I suddenly feel like my FR-S is a rocket ship. I'd post a pic but I don't have any under 4MB and can't be bothered to compress one.

looks good man. are those mirrors stock? ive never seen anything like that, i love them

>3 wheels
>40hp when new
>850cc inline 4, carbed
>But weighs under half a ton

Might not actually be the slowest car ITT accelerating or climbing hills but cornering and braking is terrible.

That's fucking dope

Is it red, with a nice chrome exhaust

Is that a Datsun 100A / Cherry? Looks like one but to my knowledge they only come 4 speed manual transmission?

No, I got them out of a magazine for F-1 parts but they fit on the F-3 just fine. The mirrors it had when I got it weren’t stock either, previous owner had some weird homemade extensions for when he had a camper in the bed.

They're a fun ride. We have an 82 year old family friend in Oregon who takes his up the mountains in hunting season.

Fucking do it user and don't look back

>cornering and braking is terrible.
Yeah, you'll flip right over

I might win but man there are some slow as fuck shit boxes.

71' M35A2
5 gear changes later, at 27mph. Max is 60mph with 5th gear/high transfercase topped out, pedal to the floor at 2550rpm.
>pic related, at the local Wendy's being an Ameriburger

You find an excuse to post that piece of shit in every thread.

doeet

22hp. Wait up and ill come at you.

1977 ke30 corolla

>tfw everyone shit talks your dream car
I'm going to buy it anyway fuck you fags

...

In all fairness we are talking about slow cars in this thread... are you saying it doesnt qualify?

or just upgrade to one of these badboys

not mine in the picture (but I have one)

wow I thought I was going to win this thread with my old corolla beater but the europoors really blew me out of the water

My first car was a Golf with a 54hp diesel,sold it 3 months ago,now have a 115hp petrol
>t.slavnigger

ha thats awesome

can you daily this??

theres 2 more things I want to know about in this picture, the tub on the left and whatevers in the garage.

8-11mpg
Can burn diesel (best), gas/WVO/WMO/etc
Shit turning radius + manual steering

Just removed the old air relief for these newer ball valves to dump the tanks faster. Gonna redo it later when i reposition the tanks, had to draw it out with what I had to avoid the handle smacking the tank.
>pic related, old vs new

You can daily them and I daily this now. It mainly sucks in tight parking, small roads, and super bumpy roads. Without the bed loaded down the ass end likes to bounce around on rough roads. The rear axles are suspended via a pivot in the center. Front axle up? Rear axle down!
It will definitely have you puckering your ass if you hit a bump at hi speed and there's a car in the next lane.

What's insurance like for that thing in Leafland? Been researching those a bit and I can't find out much about insuring them.

Whats the fuel tank/s capacity? How far can you make it one one fillup?

0-60 11 seconds, screams of death at 75mph

The tank is only supposed to be filled up to 3/4 of its physical capacity. To the fill line is 50gallons, totally full is around 67ish.
Its around 380-541miles per tank. That's the highest and the lowest ive recorded so far.

Single tank btw, passenger side. Driver side has the tool kit and spare tire.

>insuring a wheelbarrow with a lawnmower engine

2011 Skoda Fabia Kombi/Wagon.
1.2 litres, 75hp, 5 speed.

Pretty slow, no idea of 0-60 time.

I drove a 1.4 16V Skoda once at it was the most gutless thing I've ever seen. Literally nothing happens below 3000rpm.

>13 kW (18 PS)
>31,0 Nm of torks
> 520 KG of weight

i've never even heard of a ford laser where are you from

This might be the slowest. 0-50!!! mph 62.4secs, the face melting topspeed of 53mph.

Mazda 323 in the european market. Dunno where he is from.

its the same as the ford escort, i had one, there are plenty of slower cars

A unicycle

What is this thing called?

Can you use mixtures of fuels or do you need to set it up for one type?

Ye. I wanna get one for my DD.

Left is a 1960 El Camino, garage is a 1959 El Camino.

that's fucking cool

>Hauling snow
Europeans, everyone

>not selling your extra snow to the ice cream factory

> this is what Europeans are forced to drive
I am literally crying of laughter right now

unironically cool user

Some user has a classic Fiat 500, id wager that its him.

yup, it's really fucking slow

Mix n match baby. The more diesel the better because it has the most energy and properly lubricates the fuel system unlike the other fuels. Over time alternative fuels will eat up your fuel and injector pumps.

>pic unrelated but related
May 2009 batteries finally shat out this morning after my running lights were left on.

Cushman truckster. 1978

Some guy I know owns a pic related.
2 cylinders, 600 cc, 26 HP, top speed is like 100 kph.

this?

you absolute madman

>slowest car on Veeky Forums is faster than anything anyone on Veeky Forums owns....

There was a guy who owned a Model T at some point.

I bet there were a lot of guys who owned a model T in 1930

Same dude, I thought my little yaris would be #1 slow but I was vastly proven wrong

How'd you end up in possession of the truck? Ever use it for any heavy duty applications?

The original (civilian owner) got it out of Camp Shelby, MS. I bought it off of him. I would buy another from the government directly but they've been out of service for so long there's only onesee twosees left still in active service. The current vehicle in the same tier is the Stewart & Stevenson M1078 LMTV.

I personally wouldn't want one because I want a manual trans. The only real reason I wouldn't buy a modern variant. They're definitely faster n more capable though, alot less finicky too.

I was debating on using it to tow a double car trailer back home when I move but I ended up shipping one car and selling the other. I still gotta load the bed with about 3.5k lbs of shit though on my way back. The brakes aren't great and how moronic drivers like to cut in front of big trucks.. That would be my main concern with a heavy load. Idiots.
The truck can pull it, stopping it once it's in motion is a different point entirely.

>random pic, underhood without my heater core & blower motor

I would like to think that I'm just a tad eccentric, not so much as mad.

4cyl tacoma so slow when i get into a civic it feels fast

I think that's really cool, my dude.

How much time do you spend maintaining it?

Was it expensive to buy? Looks like the M1078LMTVs aren't actually pricey at all

I'm buying a property soon and will finally have driveway and garage space for multiple vehicles, and I'd like to pick up a project vehicle.

5min idle up - 5 minutes post drive idle down.
I always do my safety checks during the idle up time, mainly brakes. They're single circuit so if one leaks, they all lose pressure.
Can't give you a straight time but I pull out the grease gun every 500 miles, about 2k miles per imma repack wheel bearings (and as needed). Oil TBD, I gave it all fresh fluids last week not to include coolant.

Great condition, 8k-12k usually
Good n running 4k-7k
Good body w/ issues, 2.5-4.5k ish

M1078 wouldn't be bad. Just arm yourself with the 10-20 & 30 level manuals for it and grab the larger than usual tools you'll need for it now.
Youll have a decent parts availability due to its age, or lack thereof.

Humvees are a good choice too and there's a massive aftermarket for them. The initial purchase price & done parts for them is a tad on the insane side Imo. Everyone wants a Humvee *shrug*. Basically the 240sx drift tax for military vehicles.

I don't think I've ever seen a 40 Ford with paint before.

Well I dont drive a BRZ so not me.

I have probably the slowest v8
>14l/100km
>185kw factory
>prolly 150kw now
>*0.8 for rwkw
>1400kg
>long ratio diff

yo that's beautiful.

DUDE

It's not the horsepower that's the issue with this car, it's the lack of torque. It fucking kills everything that's otherwise enjoyable about this car, and coupled with the dogshit interior, forced me to trade it in. Don't get one unless you can get one used for under $12k.

it races fine sounds like you are a shit driver

What?

>america

My 71 had 50hp and that got me all the way up to 75.
I thought the fenders were going to fall off.
