Assuming you're running with NPC allies, it's a good idea to kill yourself and have your allies sacrifice you every time you reach a floor with a revival point (the purple smoke thing near the start of the floor). You offerings and black rite will reset completely and restore each time you revive this way. iirc revive points spawn around every 3-4 floors.
Also if you encounter a rabbit, it's also a good idea to intentionally break a single offering that you're running low on and need more of, so you can chose "restore offerings" from the rabbit to restore that offering and completely restore all uses for it.

Nah, you can get yourself sacrificed in regular missions too and have your NPC allies complete it for you, assuming they don't die, which they pretty much never do if they have S rank affinity.
Getting sacrificed and contributing as a ghost also gives a bunch of extra score if you need that extra push for Legendary Sorcerer rewards (but as far as I know you won't get the life/soul essence from the boss if you're dead)
