So, which of the classes is your favorite in design?
Kayden Mitchell
>the fawn Alright lemme tell you about this thing.
It's jumping all over the place, buffing its damage out the asshole and landing huge crits at level 0. This is 'balanced' by having abysmal resistance to everything and making itself bleed out.
Aside from the obvious author-insert fetish fuel, it's not really viable in any party unless you've got someone babysitting it to keep it alive.
Also, it has a camping skill that pushes death blow resistance to the cap.
Jaxson Carter
The only one I really dislike is the Hellion since she feels like a flimsy, melee version of Grave Robber.
Benjamin Kelly
Abomination and Flagellant visual designs are top tier imo.
Angel Morris
BH visuals BH or GR gameplay
Andrew Edwards
>better dead than shit There aren't that many bad generals. The only one that I would say is beyond saving is SC2 general which has become consumed by cancer.
Jayden Jenkins
Don't ask for whom the bell tolls. It tolls for thee.
Michael Hughes
I just did DD4
At first I thought the game was bugged when he used Come Unto Your Maker Rip best Vestal Rip best Graverobber
Also man the Ancestor is a dick
Jayden Ward
>Hating on Abominations How does it feel to be a huge faggot?
Blake Long
>Town event that removes resolve restrictions >"Oh hey, that's cool. I don't really have a use for it" >mfw Holy shit, this is so heroic
Anthony Jones
>long easy dungeon >Explore all rooms, start backtracking toward the shambler altar since my dudes are in good shape >Surprise Collector encounter >Stunlock him and kill him in 3 turns >Get to shambler altar >Stunlock him too, and blitz him in 2 rounds with a lucky crit from my Crusader Feels good time to remind myself
Leo King
I'VE COME TO COLLECT YOUR MEMES
Ryan White
should i install any mods on my first playthrough or no?
Easton Bailey
Don't. Some mods will make the game way too easy.
Elijah Morales
Should I get the DLC if I'm half way through my first play through in vanilla?
Austin Jackson
Yes, you should have no problems with a crocodilian.
Mason Lopez
>Two round Shambler kill Excuse me? Is this an Apprentice Shambler?
Charles Johnson
ISIS wizard
Joseph Evans
I don't know what that means
Blake Richardson
should I do the vanilla game first as well?
Parker Kelly
Depends. My noob friend has no problems stepping up to the challenges of Crimson Court
Gabriel Johnson
>vestal in third >plague doctor in fourth
Evan Peterson
FUCK WRONG IMAGE
Lincoln Jackson
What's the reasoning behind enemy target acquisition? Is it just random for all possible targets within range? Or is it weighted for proximity? i.e. if an enemy can hit the first three characters, is the first character more likely to be hit or is it all equal?
Noah Lopez
AFAIR it depends on your resists, other than that, equally distributed
Jayden Wilson
Grave Robber.
Grave Robber is best girl.
William Walker
I ultimately run Vestal in third, PD in fourth. Actually, they occupy slots 2 and 3 respectively, but my GR lunges from slot 4 at the start of every fight.
Eli Baker
What's the issue? Aren't they both equally happy in 3 or 4?
Liam Sullivan
As someone who just started into modding monsters, different monsters have different "brains" that have a preferred skills that they will only use depending on their position and if whether the target is marked or has debuffs and stress level.
So a highly stressed character will be more likely to be gang banged by a party of 4 mosquitoes if your other party members have lower stress. The AI is a douche like that.
Landon Wood
Reminds me of the Pariah. It becomes afflicted by the time you reach your 4th battle because of the ridiculous stress it gets from its skills. You have to really babysit it with a Jester or HM just so that it wont go crazy.
Seeing as you, pal, are intrigued by it, mate, I conclude that you're, my dude, a furry yourself, friend, and voicing your concerns, dear, shows you're latent, darling.
Nathaniel Perez
>not wanting light for free
Grayson Davis
Stun also gives light.
Connor Rogers
>hair >legs >crits FOR DAYS
Thomas Flores
PD in 3 is better though. Her bleed melee shill is an actual good melee skill, especially with a bloody herb or the dissection kit equipped.

I've stopped coming for thread threads for a while, did that user ever finish the entire set of vampire models for all classes?
Has anyone thought about doing an Opera / Pupeteer dungeon?
Like, have 'Ushers', half-dead men bound in string holding lanterns with Mark and Accuracy dropping attacks, and 'Extras', which are just dressed, blank dolls with hit marked attacks and stun attacks that entrap the heroe in string. Also have 'Workmen', who have attacks similar to the Madman's Prognostication attack, causing things like chandeliers to fall on the party etc., and a heal/buff for puppets.
Then get into specialist enemies for particular dungeons, like for the Ballet one there's ballerina dolls with high dodge, a guard move, and generally just dump Horror and bleeds onto the heroes while dancing back and forth in the enemy party, the Lead Dancer who causes bleeds, shuffles and stuns using her strings, and finally the Ballet Master who continually summons up ballerinas while causing stagger and bleeds to the party. Dungeon also has 'Dancer Extras', who act like normal extras in dancing clothes but move faster and hit harder. Infer in pre-dungeon banter that the Ballet Master harvests girls and turns them into grotesque puppets for the Theatre.
Then there's the Musc Dungeon, where in addition to occasional Ballerinas you have Choirboys and Chorusgirls, who deal loads of horror and marks from the back rows. In amongst these are 'Opera Extras' in Roman/Greek/Viking armour with high defense and attack. Sub-boss is a Hannibal-type Player, who has two phases - one where he retreats to the back and sings, causing loads of Horror and healing while Singer Extras bash the Heroes, and the second where he soars to the front, and deals crippling damage. Ends with the Primadona, who summons up lesser versions of the Hannibal Boss who continually guard her, while she rains Horror, damage and debuffs to the heroes.
Brayden Jenkins
>general dies when I finally have enough cash to spare for the DLC
At least I can talk about it in /indie/ and Red Hook has more DLC planned, so maybe this general will come back from the dead yet again.
Leper has coolest design Hellion has most fappable design (plagueplebs need not apply)
Thomas Scott
*Music. Pre-Dungeon banter states that the Primadonna entrances all that enter into her whim, but before she could attack the Ancestor with her slave army, he unleashed the Pupeteer on her. Now she entrances all to come and watch her show and deal with her every whim.
Next would be the Instrumental Section, where in addition to Ballerina, Choirboys, Chorus girls and Workmen, you also have Violin Players (who deal bleeds and blights), Cello players (backrow debuffs and horror), Horn players (cause stuns and debuffs from mid rank), Flute players, (Stumble and bleeds) and drum players (Heavy damage). Ends up against the Maestro - a real monster of a boss that continuously summons up Muscial players, continously stumbles the party, distributes random stuns and occassionally deals ridiculous damage to the front. Pre Dungeon banter speaks of how the Maestro was searching for the Best Music, and ended up under the Ancestor's thrall in listening to the Forbidden sounds. The Ancestor tires of his art, and throws him to the Puppeteer.
The final boss would be the Puppeteer. Dungeon is filled with one of each of the previous minibosses. Background matches each 'scene' that you killed the heroes in. In game banter of someone poorly impersonating the Ancestor acts as a narrator, chiding you and telling you your fools for following his dance, etc. Final sub boss is a Puppet Ancestor (who is pathetic), and the False Narrator falsely says that the dungeon is over, along with badly done musical cue and with the wrong shield popping up. Leaving works like you left a dungeon prematurely. Continuing on leads to the Puppeteer - A work bench and a pair of giant floating gloves. Strings flow from the bench. Background is a bunch of puppets and half people-half puppets bound in string. Pupetter's main focus is dealing massive single point damage, stun and bleed.

What's a good team comp for farming the Garden Guardian? I'm thinking of just going with a mark squad.
Mason Lopez
Almost done with the conquistador class
Juan King
>Implying the Darkest Estate is in the New World
Dude, game's set in France
James Cox
But it has bayous though? Besides, the dresses could just be inherited from French colonists, considering France was second only to Britain when it came to trying to colonizing north america.
I've always imagined the estate to be somewhere in New England, like Lovecraft always set his stories.
Jonathan Bailey
entertainment expansion is comprehensible but as a 'location' sits off the mark as it wouldn't be an area for exploration
Eli Diaz
>Dude, game's set in France It's obviously Nepal, you prick.
Joshua Phillips
newest mspaint update
Jeremiah Scott
Decided to watch Joseph Andersons review of the game. He does have some good points, but he is pretty shit at the game. Fucking youtubers.
Jordan Rogers
I'm no furry you fucking faggot, it has better art than most mods so I was interested and it has custom animations.
Caleb Sanchez
No need to shill your own mod, pal.

this is the most annoying thing about this fucking board.
all you cunts open with "VESTAL IN THIRD ISHYGDDT" as opposed to giving any fucking reason why this is a bad thing to do.

Crusaders and Plague Doctors are from the Old World too anyway.

>does nothing in 3rd that she cant do in 4th >other units have melee abilities they cant do in 4th hm

no yeah your right bud can't imagine why i wouldn't like the tech of having a dodge debuff
Gabriel Brooks
Is CC needed for this mod?
David Kelly
>debuff over stun >not having high acc on your damage dealers >implying youll use it over a heal without minimum 10 bonus speed on vestal
Jayden Carter
Well if you're gonna argue bayous and gators, then it'd be French colonial Louisiana, not New England.
I still think France, considering the style of the nobles at the Crimson Court, the default names all being French stuff, and France being so involved in Crusades.
The APEX PREDATOR struck me as the kind of exotic pet the Ancestor or one of his depraved friends might have imported, not a native creature.
Adrian Ward
>Hurr-durr PD in 4th position >o-other u-units m-means the PD exclusively >g-got y-you! You sure did, friend.
Aiden Wilson
No. Seeing as any attempt to mod CC content at the moment results in bugs
Henry Reed
>go into Champion warrens >Have Vestal+BH+HM+Reynauld >first encounter, enemy gets suprised >Knock the enemy stress dealer out, try to stun the Swinetaur >it doesnt work >Swinetaur crits Vestal, now at deaths door >Pray to god one of the other three gets targeted >Ball and Chain >Hits the Vestal, she dies RNG giveth, RNG taketh (mostly) away
Kevin Morris
>go to kill brigand 8 pounder >collector appears >kill it >reach pounder >kill it >go back for secret room >loot it >go back for shambler altar >kill it
10/10 mission, would do again. arbalest is a beast, she crit 4 times in a row while picking off marked bandit matchmen.
