I'd be fine if it gave Hero-specific gunslash PAs that are actually worth using alongside/over the other weapons. Like maybe have it specialize in aerial combat/evasion.

What are some good affixes for Hero that don't require you to have played for ten years or whale hard on AC Scratch to be able to afford them?
Also what should I do with my Qlip Fuses, is the weapon upgrade just cosmetic and I can use them on my units without losing out? I don't have any good 12* units so far so should I do that or keep saving them?

The cosmetic version gives you the double affix potential, so if you do a 100 atk affix, its worth 200.

as for unit affixes

Soul + stat IV + flict + spirita is stupid cheap and easy to make. i highly recommend you keep doing beach wars for astra units, those have been dropping very often for me, and they're exceptionally good.

How does that work with the Qlip Weapon drops from Gracia btw?
Do you not get the 10% bonus affix rate for them in return for not having to spend the fuses? But then again you probably will have to spend fuses anyway to max the element and +35... are qlip weapon drops just useless then?

cliffard weapon drops get the stat doubling potential only, and it can be unlocked with photon spheres. You then convert it to a zenesis weapon so you can max the element/grind cap, and it keeps the stat doubler pot.

But if you change to the affix boost potential will you be able to go back to stat doubler without having to pay fuses again?

nope, you have to pay 120 fuses again.

Yeah, that's kinda pointless then. Pretty much the same as having a Zein weapon drop. Oh well

But it does make a difference - you can save 120 fuses if you spend more cubes (or just luck out) upslotting it without the 10% affix boost pot. Since you'll mostly be cramming SAFs into it anyway it actually doesn't matter after the upslotting really.

Depends entirely on if you're capable of affixing without the +10%. given my cliffard affixes were entirely special ability factors (apart from ether factor), it's not exactly a game breaker.

Why did they make everything cost so many Fuses? I've been playing for maybe two months and still don't have enough for a single weapon, it's retarded. By the time I could make one the next boss EQ will probably give better weapons already

Qliphad Fuses can be a bit ridiculous, but Aether Fuses for Yamato weaopns aren't nearly as bad.

Only qliph requires that many, and rightfully so as it's the end of an episode weapon like austere was.
