Someone a couple of threads ago asked me to post my roster and I forgot to ever get back to him, so... uh, here.

I'm on about a month straight now of not being able to get Defenses, and I have no goddamn idea why. This roster seems like it should be more than capable of getting at least one win, but no matter what team comp I try I'm getting nothing out of it.

Do I just not understand how to game the AI to do what I want?

If I were to merge a 5* into a 4* for a potential 4*+10 build, would the legendary weapon (e.g. Falchion) be accessable to the 4* or would only the other learned skills transfer over?

Also, I have 32k feathers and am waiting for Valter but afterwards I have a few options:
1. Up a +Spd -Def Eirika and and merge my +Def -Atk Eirika into her
2. Up a -Atk Reinhardt and merge him into my +Atk -Def one
3. Up +Atk -HP Kagero to 5*
4. Keep the feathers to eventually up LaD/-blade tome/other 5* only skill onto someone who needs it
5.Keep the feathers to up a future good roll to 5*

Which should I do?

Don't worry, I've stooped that low and STILL didn't get a defense that week. Even with fully inherited cookie-cutter horsememes in the same formation as other anons I've seen have success with them, I got nothing.

Okay so I was curious. Do C skills stack? In other words if I have 2 heroes with Hone Attack 3 flanking the same unit will that unit get +8 att? I've scoured the wiki and can't an answer.

All the skills would transfer. A 4* +10 Chrom that ate a 5* Chrom will have Falcion

Might just have very bad luck. Alternatively, try doing other things like using 3 level 40s and a level 1 or using a weaker arena defense team so you'll be matched up with weaker opponents. I don't know why but after putting TA2 on my Xander this week I've gotten like 6-8 defenses when I normally get 0-2. I'm going to be experimenting with slapping lunge on both Xander and Camus now.

If Tana is solid, match her with Hinoka and Corrin for your first Flier Emblem team. If Amelia is solid, roll for her. If Innes turns out to be a fantastic anti-mage, you might consider him if that Julia isn't ideal in terms of IVs.

Amelia isn't great because she's only really good with multiple armors, and you don't have Zephiel. You should probably look to save your orbs since you already have such great starter units as long as their IVs are decent

when you summon a bonus team, can you summon them again if you fight them/buy items from them? or do you have to buy items from them before ever fighting them?
