is my Bow too weak? how do i know if I need to upgrade or buy a unique? is physical damage + elemental damage x attack per second a good measure to compare weapon damage?

It's an okay bow, you could get a much better one for quite cheap. Which stats are good depend on what you're scaling most, if you're not scaling the elemental damage then it's not good.

I've never played hc with any serious intent, but I'd like to start another character for this league. I want to play something non traditional.

What's a slightly weird build that has good survivability that I could use in hc? I was thinking maybe guardian with MoM, max block bleed gladiator, E Q J U G G, or something trickster since I've never played one.

Hardcore should have a lifes system that lets you use a Mirror on your actual character for an extra life. also you get 1 extra life after act 10

On hardcore harbinger there has been only 3 blessings of chayula that got posted for sale, 2 of them were mine and 1 was uberdans (which I bought) and uberdan died on his character that ran it. Lowlife is the strongest setup in the game right now and presence of chayula is insane for it.

Its a new image, I got another blessing today. It's just insane how much it sells for for how easy it is for me to do. The main downside its just trying to get the splinters for it.

It's honestly stupid how little TRUE build variety there is in a game touted for it's "do whatever you want!"-ness. Being able to gimp yourself by using a straight worse option isn't "do whatever you want!" it's just stupid.

What do you lads thing of this? Tempted to swap into it now that i'm more or less finished with my league starter. It looks neat, lightning is pretty hipster, and it looks not-braindead.

And honestly its not an insanely fun build but I enjoy it for casually mapping. Its definitely not something I'd map on all day though.

Not every skill should be able to do Shaper. But it isn't much to ask that they be able to clear at least t15s without requiring a million exalted orbs dumped into the build, because at that point you realize using anything else with the same investment would be exponentially better.

blade flurry is borderline unusable after the AoE nerfs.

granted, i think that was intended, since it was the only ability to not receive +radius upon levels.

good point, because everything has to do 90% of your life even with capped resists and tons of EHP in this game, true melee is at an inherent disadvantage. and if you try to build a super tank you can't clear which means you'll die anyways

Not really. A friend of mine used cleave with devoto's devotion for super fast clear speed. He was on par with some vaal skills in 2.6

Is there a guide somewhere that helps to provide an order of the best way to 'build' an item? I'd assume I'd wait for a white drop with the armour/ES/whatever that section is called that I would need for the build plus amount of sockets, then probably upgrade through Master stuff then items and go from there?
