does anyone besides spy players actually like spy. is it really fun to check behind yourself every 10 seconds just in case there's one guy behind you with instakill damage. is it really fun to be punished for focusing on the battle ahead of you because woops, their third spy slipped past your entire team thanks to the dead ringer and now you're dead. is it really fun to play against spies getting rewarded for fucking up being sneaky when they butterknife your face and it registers as a backstab, or they just superspeed away from any sort of commitment.

sun on a stick should do the following >set enemies on fire for 3 seconds (18 damage of afterburn) >set user on fire if he misses >make the user run faster when on fire >make the user take less damage from afterburn

I was playing Q3, Q1 & 2 run like aids on my computer. Tf2 feels really weird after playing it, like it's painfully slow in movement, but I scored over twice the second highest player, feels good man. I'm barely low-mid range in quake.
Question: how do you do better with hitscan weapons like the shotgun or machine gun? I do well with all the projectile weapons except the GL but getting a RL is painful when I can't hit anything with the weapon you get when you respawn. Also, is there a way to remove the obnoxious lighting the muzzle flash/projectiles give off? The flashiness distracts me.
