What gun are you guys finding yourself using the most? Personally I always venture out with an AK-74N, which sets me back about 30 000 roubles (40 000 if I add a COBRA). I wish I could take the MP5 a bit more routinely, but it costs 1000$ ~ 90 000 roubles, which is a bit much for my wallet to endure.

So uh, is going full-goy worth it?

The final game will include ways to upgrade your stash and your alpha container. Although the exact 3x3 dimensions of the gamma container might never be obtainable to regular players, we'll be able to come close™

Used to always go out with AK's, but now that my stash is just full of everything () I pretty much always take an M4 out. If not an M4, a decked out AK. I'd say recently I come out of 90% of my raids alive so I might as well, I never use 74U's anymore (I keep a few to give out to friends if they need a weapon) and I just sell most 133's and keep 153's to turn into M4's.

I'll take AK74N's onto Factory for some quick fun though.

This is ol' reliable, have taken her into 20+ raids on Customs/Shoreline and made it out of every one.

The game gets a lot more fun when you don't have to worry about losing gear. I have like 10k USD and 1mil Rubles.

Then we got the Factory meme gun, a personal favorite. I can't see shit when I use it and neither can opponents.

How many weapons are there exactly? I like roguelikes / roguelites a lot, and this game seems to me fits the formula of running through the same locations many times. But how much enjoyment is in there exactly? I've been thinking about picking up EFT for a week now, your shill threads worked, but I'm not confident that I won't abandon the game after a few hours.

Most enjoyment comes from tension during battles and during scavenging the sound engine really help building it up. Gunplay is very satisfying especially if you land headshots. So if you like that go for it. Honestly I wouldn't recommend that right now.

Just go with the standard one, the benefits for the higher tiers are fucking trash. Also remember that the store does not have tax added, so if you see 35€, that's actually 35€ + tax (went all the way to 45 for me).

Prapor sells the AK-74N at LL2. Peacekeeper sells the MP5, Night Vision headpiece, AK74 foregrip, grenades, the biggest bag in the game (I think?) and more at LL2

There is. It's called offline mode. You get no loot from it, but you can't lose anything either. It will be removed upon game release.

AI scavs never take your gear. If you die in some obscure spot, or get 360 noscope headshotted by an AI and nobody ends up looting you, you get your stuff back. It's basically a bullshit preventer that does nothing to aid in PvP scenarios, and has a chance of helping in PvE scenarios.

Basically this Or if you are playing with a group, they can just hide your stuff after you die.

AI accuracy depends on your gun.
With knifes and Hatches you can sprint like a madman into them and stab the right the gabber with a M4 you get 007 sniped with a Makarov. Only insure at prapor also 2-4K roubles ain't that much.
Yeah most of the time you die visibly yo shits gone my dude.
But if you play with mates you can usually hide their stuff or they yours if one bites the dust.
Only thing shite about the insurance is that they only hold on to it for 24 or 48 hours after returning it.

If you press the insure all button and just mash next, you'll end up insuring your gamma/alpha/beta box, which costs a fortune

I enjoyed playing DayZ when the mod first released. I always enjoy STALKER and played the MP betas for that too.

I buy a lot of his pineapple juice when I do raids so I can level up that metabolism.

Now I need to go do some runs where I do nothing but run around in barbed wire and heal up to boost the healing, vitality and stress stats.

There really needs to be more ways to level up the strength stat than pretty much just tossing grenades as the only real way I've seen that stat go up.

Right now there is a offline mode where you can play against just the AI scavs.

They're talking about removing this feature from the full game for some reason, but in theory when they come out with hideouts, you'll be able to make an indoor shooting range to test out your guns.

Not his fault that Factory gives out more loot and XP in a short amount of time than any other map.

Factory you can kill 2 people and a scav, leave with 3-4 guns and various loot easy, in 3-4 minutes and get out with anything from 10-20k XP in 4 minutes.

Doing the same thing on Shorelines or Customs would take at least 10 minutes just to sprint through the thing, and if you actually take your time it's more like 15-20 minutes.

In the time it takes to go do Shoreline and Customs you could run wild over Factory 4 times and get 4x the loot and XP easily. Factory is just too good if you need to grind levels, loot and money.

No, I just play Factory as a scav because it's the easiest map to scav on. I play Shoreline and Customs as PMC.
