You know the character Japhet, from OFF? He started out a nice guy who just wanted to do what's right and give everyone a perfect happy ending, but because of their inability to meet his expectations, he slowly grew to hate his creation and in the end sought to destroy the peace he'd created.

I think I understand what that's like now.

I like the general idea of it, since only Frisk can come close to really understanding how the power of resets ended up turning him monstrous. In a way, his example can also be the deterrent for them against abusing that power. It's a good way to create some additional companionship, even if empathy isn't present.

It's an idea that relies on believing he could be at least somewhat happy though, and if that's not your view, that's totally fine too, the comic's just not going to give you much of anything.

I don't know honestly. I found taking requests really stressful in the end and I feel like a lot of the drawings really suffered for my want to please everyone quickly. I feel like I've done more good by making these drawings on my own than making a bunch of quick simple drawings that I feel would disappoint many.

My Twitter feed is full of Japanese reactions to the game and I love it. It's still fun to see people get excited over Undertale.

It's great to see people experiencing it for the first time again. I wonder if they'll make the same mistakes as we did.

Go for it user. Some people need to take requests to find the will to draw but the end result is a lot better when it's something you wanted to do yourself. I do admit that I don't often get many ideas though. Just stuff like "Maybe I'll draw a butt" and it slowly turns to and it often leads to not drawing for many days. It also means I'm not stepping too far out of my comfort zone which would be bad if I was looking to get better.

Thanks user. In the end I might be the only one truly disappointed with my own stuff but I do think you deserve better..

But that's the whole problem, isn't it? It's not okay. None of what happens to Asriel in any of the endings is okay. In fact, it's so not okay that its inclusion seems downright jarring compared to the rest of TP. Toby put this idea in our heads that we truly could SAVE everyone, and seemed to be following through with it, but just as we could touch victory, he snatches it away from our grasp in a spectacular display of crushing reality.

In fact, it's so spectacular and brutal that most of us didn't even realize what'd happened until days after we'd finished playing. Then... utter madness.
