first for slater

Lovely. But is that a CBR 1000 or a 600?

Did you suck him off?

L I T E R

I CANT FUCKING WAIT

...

I have this on the way. How did I do?

Good. Fly is a really under rated brand. I have one of their jackets and love it.
So i got their boots, gloves, and helmet too.
Happy with all of it.

>So i got their boots, gloves, and helmet too.
Same. It is all so cheap for what you get, compared to the competition.

Very good grandpa :^)

Any way we can keep the rampant shitposting and trolling down to a minimum today?

I found it to be comparably priced VS other things i was looking.
But definitely cheaper than all these meme brands that are around today.
And fly has been around FOREVER

Not as long as your dumbass is here.

Soon™

Tfw I want to buy an old Goldwing too but people keep telling me I won't like it because I'm young.

Excitebike

600s for the track, liters for the street

Quick /dbt/ I need a 2nd+ opinion

Nobike looking for first bike in the states. I’ll be doing a lot of commuting on it (70+ mi a day 5 days a week) so I want something comfy. I’m pretty set on getting a versys 650 but I’m not sure if I should start on say a ninja 300 or cb500f first. Also I’m 6’2” and 295lbs.

Versys is fine

Versys 650 is perfect for you

archive.is/b6LrC

Thats never going to happen desu. Everyone talks shit and relieves stress here since they cant say the same shit to their friends.

>295lbs
>300cc

No

There has been rampant shitposting in /dbt/ loooooooooooong before xt user was here.

>he doesnt know

>commuting
>anything less than 650
Fuck no, go with the Versys, maybe something even more powerful if you find it

Thanks guys

That’s what I told my friend who said start on a 300. I have to do a bunch of riding 70+mph and he said it’ll get there eventually. I told him to fuck off.

jesus christ don't get a versys upright uncle-cycle

Get a fucking sv650 like any other normie if you don't think a 300 will scoot ur fatass around

and lose some weight, bubba.

>recommends a worse bike
Wew
Fuck off

The Versys is actually a good bike lol. Go watch some reviews

...

I think the versys is better for me anyway to be honest. I don’t mind the whole stigma of being an old guy, as long as it’s /comfy/

>bubba
Wow fat jokes on an Italian pizza making forum. Crazy.

it's a good bike if you're literally afraid to have fun

i'm not a shitzuki fan. i actually ride Kawk (pronounced 'cock') but a sv650 is way more interesting bike than a Versys

n+1

HYPE

P
E

SV is in no way, shape, or form more interesting than a Versys.
The Versys can also do some offroad and touring

...

6'5" 225lb lardo here. The R3 got me through two 110F+ summers, to and from work daily, and all over SoCal and Arizona. Just adjust your rear suspension and you're gucci.

And lose some weight, damn.

Cucklan

>mind goes instantly to pizza

lol

Kawasaki a best.

>shitty ktm learner bike
>scooter
>ugly triumph
>shitty old honda
yeah sure looks super to me

>lose some weight, damn
Implying I’m over 25% bodyfat

I went from a 48 waist to a 42 in 4 months. I’m still going my dude.

I just went through there about two weeks ago and it was a ghost town. Didn't see another person or vehicle until I made it through the entire stretch. Was in a car since both bikes are in storage but it was still fun.

first for no bike

>3 literbikes
post your 125 please

Rode a R125 on my CBT license
Now I'm on my A2 license and I'm thinking of getting an R3. Is it any good?

Do you think It'd be a responsible decision to buy an R6 on my full license? I'd have 4 years riding experience over the course of 3 bikes in similar size and handling, with the difference being speed and acceleration. (I guess)

It's nice when it's empty, no slow Harley fags clogging things up

I was merely pretending to be retarded

Yea, or anyone else. They had that section closed off as they were doing some renovations but I was able to walk in there.

Good! Everyone will tell you they ride in shirt and flip-flops but the truth is that its a dangerous world out there.
>My gear

Want to come in July? We are renting a house, 10+ confirmed so far.

>Pretending
Sure thing looper

not sure how a versys can tour better than a sv650 can

>offroad

over the line.

Every single review puts the Versys above the Vstrom
And we all know the vstrom is a worse SV

>renting house
>10 plus probably guys
>all like to ride
Oh boy this is getting interesting

really? not a single comment?

Lol damn. Harley going under soon hopefully

HD fags on suicide watch

Its not surprising

(You)

Post your butt

Good for you, fuck the haters.

I usually roll down with the trailer. Might be going through early this year on my way to Austin for MotoGP.

I'm smart, I promise!

SUMMONING V7NON

you mentioned a lot of good things about the V7 two things i wanna ask.

>how do you feel about it being a daily rider
>hows the dry clutch treating you

those are kind of my two biggest hiccups. Otherwise it makes a good contender for a second bike.

Hell no, an R6 has insane amounts of power that's nearly impossible to control. You need a minimum of 30 years hard track riding to even be able to operate an R6 safely. Your 125 is too powerful for your level of experience too, I suggest you go to a 50cc, and after 2 years move on to a 80cc if you feel ready. Only consider a 125 after 10 years of riding and expert level skills, otherwise you'll be putting yourself in danger.

Stupid Americans, you should have 5 years experience on pedal bikes before you move on to a 50cc. God save the Queen.

looking for some decent over pants or just good riding jeans. Any recommendations?

also black widow or Yoshi?

>no tracks let you race without an unrestricted license in my area
>minimum age for an unrestricted license is 21
>24 if you didn't start riding at 19 or below
Ok guess I'll keep using public roads as the track

Riding jeans are a meme, get some nice textile waterproof pants or leather with exterior pucks, depending on what type of riding you do.

>you should have 5 years experience on pedal bikes

I mean, I'm pretty firmly in the literbike/yolo camp, but this is unironically good advice.

A lot of the shit that I heard in motorcycle training (MSF, Doc Wong, Alameda Sheriffs) my dad had told me ten or twelve years before when I had started to ride my bicycle on the road. Great practice for situational awareness, knowing you're invisible, being aware of traction (metal grates in the rain, gravel, shittier braking in the wet), etc.

i have a pair of dainese over pants that served me really well.

they have a removable liner for waterproofing and they add extra warmth in the winter, but are awesome for the summer. I love them.

Shift makes some.
Roughly $50

I cycled semi-pro for 10 years before riding a motorcycle and I can definitely say it helps a lot when first starting out. Specially the "I'm invisible" part of riding through traffic and when a slide inevitably happens you instinctively stay loose and avoid actually crashing.

Thanks for the advice. I'll look into them. I have a hard time telling on RevZilla what are actual overpants. Also should I get a slip on or a full exhaust? I don't want to sound like a scooter anymore and this tax return money is burning a hole in my wallet.

Slip-on is plenty if you arent going for Max performance

That's what I'm thinking. I don't care about performance at all because I just shoot around on the street.

Also by far the funnest thing ever is cruising through my city on a clear night with earbuds in playing fire music. You guys should have said it was this fun and I'd have bought a bike way earlier.

This is true, I love jamming on the bike
What do you ride?

fz-07. Picked it up a few months ago from a guy who bought it for his son but never rode it. Pretty solid deal. Still have a lot to learn but getting decently smooth at riding. Still too bitch to try to wheelie.

What about yourself?

ZXR900, I wish I had gotten an fz07 as my first bike they are a fun ride for sure. Having usable power low in the Rev range is a key for me

Ayyy I'm about to get on my 07 and ride to the gym

Kucksaki forever

Did know there were three FZ07 guys here.
I have a 2017

There are likely lots more than 3

There's others. I'm the African on the map with the 16 night fluo. There's one out in Washington and at least one in Europe

>Did know there were three FAGS here.

ftfy

Wasagaki a best!

Yeah. Its just never safe to talk about them unfortunately

Yeah man the middle gears are awesome.
Nice

Stop shitposting

>FZ-07 teh best bike evar
other bikes just like it
>absolute garbage

explain

Ayy

You guys have an issue with the wind above 65mph?
I find it difficult to shoulder check because my head whips around all over.
Ive tried a touring windscreen and it was worse because it pushed the wind into my shoulders and head rather than chest.
Any suggestion?

Nice use of stock exhaust.

How long have you been riding? Your neck muscles probably aren't used to it yet.

Its likely nobikes saying that.
I like the Z650 a lot
The CB500F is a bit small but still a good bike
The SV is my least favorite
My entire life since i was a child

Scorpion Covert. Ignore the pads meme, get yourself some neoprene rubber and measure and cut a few layers for the knees and hips. More coverage, way more comfortable, cheaper, and still offers impact protection. I can wear these all day now.

1000, you can tell the difference by the swing arm, lower, front fairings and rear tail

No not the best but not a fag bike?

Not really. Like the other poster said you get used to it.

>probably using those meme helmets or motocross helmet
Thats probably why your getting beat up alot if you've been riding for a long time.
