I've noticed that while I don't pull very many top-tier units, the ones that I do (and most of my 5* in general) tend to have good or even optimal IVs. Whereas my friend has probably pulled 80% of the best units in the game but usually they have shit IVs. I'm not sure which is better, honestly.
