Malice-ized Hylian soldiers would have been perfect here. They could fill the role of Darknuts as armored enemies, and would mostly use existing assets and animations.

Well they were under siege which means they were holed up inside, and all the doors are caved in with rubble...so they were buried alive

guardians don't siege people they're just an onslaught. The walls broke in because the guardians forced themselves inside and started blasting everything

Why are there so many Malice eyeballs you can kill in Castle Town to unblock the roads? Am I supposed to kill them all and ride my horse through town? Or is it a korok thing?

Yeah but I can easily just run straight through town, this is the only place where malice stretches across the road but there's nothing around it

You can't actually ride your horse straight to the sanctum, there are malice blockades you can't pop until you get around them and some that I don't think are actually removable

That was Phase 1 of Ganon's destruction of Castle Town.
First he blocked the roads to throw the town into chaos. Then he demanded a toll of 15 rupees

I wish there was more information available about the dragons. Hopefully in future DLC we'll get something, but I doubt it. Just feels like wasted potential, unfortunately along with other things that I really enjoyed in this game such as the divine beasts. Favorite time in this game was the beasts, but you just get in and get out so fast. Wish they would have made them longer, at the very least allow us to go back in after it's finished. What's the point in that?

Play "ground is lava" mode. You may only touch artificial structures one you leave the Great Plateau.

That's the purpose of roads
