The stream reminds me of how annoying it is for one person being praised for everything.

I know that some people don't know everything and some are innocent about it, but I felt the secondhand embarrassment when a user spoke to Hyper Potions and assumed that they did the whole OST when they only did 3 tracks for the game.

So what happens now? Sonic Mania is the highest reviewed Sonic in probably decades, and as someone who loved and loved 3&K, I think it might be even better than that with a bit of patching.

Like how do we even go forward from here? Letting Whitehead and team do an all-original game without any neck-breathing or shoulder-watching is the obvious choice, but will it happen? I'm still kind of baffled that a Sonic game is this good, I've beaten it five times now and I still want to play it more.

Hopefully Classic Sonic is turned into the sub-series they wanted Boom to be games wise. Mania devs hopefully stay on board and can crack out Classic Sonic games while Sonic Team do their 3D thing. And hopefully SEGA will put out some spin-off games like Riders or All-Stars stuff again.

Am I the only one who didn't really have trouble with these? They're super fun and I really hope we get more as an update or in a sequel.

I agree, Mania would've benefited from a hard mode, but it also would've benefitted from twice as many stages and bosses and playable Amy and Metal Sonic so oh well.

I have no idea why I genuinely liked that show as a kid. I was super hyped to watch it every weekend, but when I look back at it now Sonic X was fucking trash. Maybe younger me was a bit autistic, or I just liked the concept of a cartoon based on a great video game franchise.
