heat issues?

Vr6 doesn't make I6 power. VR heads and valves are restrictive

VR6's are like 200hp and weigh almost as much as a LS.

But they're shorter than an I6 and can be used in transverse applications.

...

the Hakuna 8 would have way worse heat because the two center cylinders have no exposure to the air

I don't even understand how a crank shaft for the Hakuna would work.

It would be weird, and likely have different sized connecting rods so some power strokes would be more powerful and it may not even have an even idle maybe.

How would it work?

Not well.

Makes the same amount of torque as a straight, just as stout too.

I'm pretty sure it is liquid cooled.

VR and W configurations are on their way out. VR is already gone. W engines barely even exist anymore.

Still exists in new Passat and VW suvs

I've never heard a W8 that sounded good. It only exists because someone wanted a special snowflake engine, the common man's V8 was too lowly for their prestigious luxury heap.
VR6 exists because auto makers didn't want to update their platforms.
Hakuna is some crazy anime physics shit.

how would you balance the Hakuna's crank?

>what is the LS4

Not narrow enough for most FWD platforms, like MQB.

>W8
>thinner that a straight 4
>very wide
excuse me?

Why is it even called the hakuna 8?

Hakuna thread?

Someone had a bunch of funny ideas for car tech and they called themselves Hakuna Miata.

holy shit this folder's got more than I thought it did.

I just got inspired and invented the greatest engine of all time

this is some crazy shit

Wouldn't this actually work as an HCCI engine?

That's basically a 2CV suspension, except that those have no side to side sway bars

I was hoping someone still had these, thanks
