I feel that way too until I actually open it and suffer about 30 minutes of loading screens followed by stuttering, retarded AI, shitty pathfinding, and all the other issues.
It has a nice amount of content with all SP/EP, at least.

TS3 really is unplayable. Shame because it's my favorite Sims game otherwise, but good luck traveling out of town or loading a save that you have more than a few hours of playtime in.

If they'd make it so that:
1) Sims have more than 3 fucking traits
2) Neighborhoods load all houses in the area (4-6 lots) simultaneously
3) A fucking colour wheel
then TS4 would be much better
