Yellow tends to really make the design details of a car stand out, including the less desirable ones.
A car has to be really well styled to look good in yellow.

yes, yellow is a very difficult color to get right since it can be blue or red. Also it is usualy flat and not metallic making it look ugly compared to all the nice metallic colors.
Honestly I love yellow but it has to be done right.

But I was thinking of that the entire time when I wrote thisYellow only works for school buses since we're supposed to be extra aware of them on roads anyway. Anything else is for jabronis with complexes.

Yellow cars tend to have higher resale value from what I've read. Yellow really makes people enthusiastic to spend slightly more money for some reason.

The Mazda Protege5 wagon and the Focus ZX3 are the only ones outside of 70s Italian supercars that look good in yellow. Probably because they're both fairly clean designs without a lot of fiddly details.
