Lightweight Sporty Cars

Pls post good options to the BMW 130i M sport for a sporty manual DD.
Pros:
>Lightweight
>Correct wheel drive
>NA Inline six, responsive and powerful
>Manual
Cons:
>BMW reliability
>Pricey for an old car

e36 328i

those look neat to me. I'd like one

Miata and BRZ are the obvious choices for new, cheap, lightweight sports cars.

Down on power though so if you like drag races fuck off.

>3250lb hatchback
>lightweight

135i for godlike engine too
m235i, m240

Since OP posted an older 1-Series and you posted straight up sports cars, a 986 or 987 deserves a mention too.
Cons obviously include expensive parts, relatively hard to work on because MR layout, only 2 seats and far less room to haul shit than a hatchback.

this. If you want something quick and agile, go with the BRZ, if you want the drop top, a little extra comfort and something to feel great on a weekend cruise, go for the Miata.

OP's original suggestion is a far better option than either the miata or the brz

>more expensive, less reliable

BMW's track record with cost of ownership

Sorry, substantiated posts in regards to OP need only apply.

1 series looks strangely reliable... for a BMW.

I really like that car but lightweight it is not sorry.

Lightweight by modern standards. There aren't a whole lot of new cars under 3000lbs

If you can find a good e46 maybe even an m3 then you're golden. That's what I did and I haven't looked back. Reliability had been great, but parts are relatively expensive obviously.

>1400kg
How the fuck is that lightweight????

>lightweight

pic related is lighter

Oh yeah, great, just what people want, a car with a subframe that cracks.

Take your shitty meme car and shove it way up inside your rectum.

sounds like something is up your rectum though. dat asshurt
