werkes is shit. My bike has one from the previous owner. It is made of thick stainless steel which is way overbuilt for the application and makes it heavy as fuck. It also leaves big gaps.

The supersport kinda has a dumb name, I dunno why they gave it that name when it's whole purpose is to not be a sportbike. It's basically a Monster with fairings and clip-ons. Very comfortable bike meant for the street, I rode one and loved it. Was definitely a lot more like a Monster than a Panigale.

However, it's way too expensive for what it is. They released it to appeal to people who don't want to shell out the dough for a Panigale but want something faired unlike the Monster. But they priced it just under the average Panigale cost, so you aren't really saving any money. I haven't seen sales numbers, but I can't imagine people being willing to spend 14k on a Supersport when they can have a 959 for slightly more.

Normally, they market their exhausts as racing only, but people use them on the street because duh why not. Looks like this time they made it near impossible to use it on the street unless you want to get rearended.

Need some opinions of those with wiring experience, I want to be able to use the headlight on my wr250f without the bike running. Now the headlight it uses is dual filament but only one filament is used, my idea is that I could hook up the other filament to the batt side with a switch. My concern is if the bike is started with the batt switch closed, would it cause a problem with ac going to one side of the filament and dc going to the other with a common ground?
