People don't use private cheats because the cheat coders won't let them. If a cheat became too popular it's a public cheat, and they don't want to risk their rep making detected shit. They likely make other shit and sell it to public cheat providers. They work for a whole then get detected due to leaks and people who do valves job for free and expose them
