I drive an 2L NC (2006-onward) and I'm loving it, but a lot of people swear by the older ones because they're lighter (but less powerful). The ND (the newest one) is the best of both worlds, both lighter and more powerful than the NC but is obviously more expensive.
Basically, the older you go, the cheaper it gets, but the cars become slightly slower and less reliable.
