Wtf why almost empty?

She's a thirsty hoe

Running on low fuel makes the car lighter and in return uses less fuel

...

damn.

Bonus voltmeter.

but the lack of volumetric pressure caused by a full tank can cause your fuel pump to burn out or your engine to misfire

Toyota Camry?

Not to mention fuel cools the fuel pump

Gas tanks are vented, the pressure is so little it's measured in inches of water. They're supposed to be around 18 inches of water, which is about .6 PSI.

Either way, it's not the lack of pressure that kills the pump, it's the lack of fuel to cool it down that kills it.

>it's the lack of fuel to cool it down that kills it.
This. Also, if you're driving the touge and/or cornering really hard you'll run the risk of briefly starving your fuel pump, which could lead to misfire or even engine shutoff.

I always fill up my 18 gallon tank when it gets to about an eighth of a tank, or roughly 2 gallons. I leave the estimated cruising distance remaining on my display as well, because I'd prefer to look at that than the odometer.

...

something that ripped the design off from MK2 mondeo

This was a good day for mileage. It usually gets about 13 exact.

Late 80s to 90s Chevy? I know it's not a Suburban or pickup, but the font and buttons scream GM so I'm not sure exactly what it is.

Not a Chevy, but it is early 90s GM.

C5 'Vette

Wow, nobody got it at all.
Should be pretty obvious now.

...

Just traded mine out. At first I thought Sierra or Denali until the speedo slip

What did you get for the trade? Any pictures of your C5?

May find a recent one, had C6 wheels and reupholstered the stock interior with black/diamond stitch red and a Momo Eagle wheel because leg room. Traded for this, needing a lot of work but she's almost ship shape now!

Toyota Aristo

Nice, man. Looks really clean. My C5 is cammed with exhaust, intakes, ECU flash, and it can be quite loud when you really get on it or on cold starts. Sounds amazing.

Here ya go. Got lucky, the Maserati is a manual so it doesn't eat clutches like skittles

That's gorgeous inside, very clean. I did the upholstery myself so forgive the fitment. Also added push button ignition, was spoiled with keyless go.

Thanks man. I think the upholstery looks quite good, the fitment seems fine.
Mine's got the "competition package" from the dealership but I have no idea what the hell that actually entails. I'm assuming slightly bigger brakes or something.

I wonder how that differs from my Z51 package. Is that a fixed roof coupe I see or hatch as well? I loved the room in the hatch. Definitely miss the HUD

...

I don't know how that's different. It's got a "competitive driving" mode available, but I'm sure they all probably have that feature. Basically just tells the car to hang out in lower gears more often and seems to make the transmission shift a bit snappier. Also turns off traction control while keeping "active handling" enabled.

C5

Looks very similar to my Touareg TDI dash, so I'm assuming it's a VW subsidiary

yes, seat leon nov 2016
