At times I want to just be a dick and run for it to survive the last moments of the wave but those pitiful "Help!" cries just draw me in. Lost alot of games where I revive some teammates, get splatted and a few seconds later they get splatted again.

I've never gotten madder at multiplayer vidya until Splatuno and 2. Something about the other team always feels like they're two steps ahead with an answer to anything your team does.
