In the fate storyline Kirei becomes master of assassin which turns out to be a bunch of people with skull masks going by the name Hassan. These assassins, however, are hilariously weak for a servant and are generally dressed in rags and give somewat of an impoverished existance.

Recently, a friend and me were talking a bit about FGO and fate in general and he linked me this video of Hassan when I said I was talking about how laughably weak Assassin was in Zero and SN.

First Hassan. He's insanely powerful because he was the first of his order and being venerated by his successors (who were also the best assassins of their eras) added to his reputation which can give a Heroic Spirit absurd amounts of potency, turning him into a hitman demigod once manifested.

The Hassans in general (apart from the King) aren't the Assassins you should look to if you want pure raw death power as they were revered for their discretion, efficiency, and dependability in taking out their targets. They could, for instance, take out a Dead Apostle with some proper planning and some help, but Holy Grail Wars are anathema to their natures as they've got 6 other superhuman legends gunning for them.
