We just need to go full /krw/ and have a rolling "daily reminder" post that gets updated and reposted in every thread.

Mercy is not "Anne Frank simulator."

If you hide to rez, all you're doing is rezzing teammates who wouldn't have died in the first place if you'd just stayed with them and healed them.

How do you use Lucio's wallride while still being useful to your team? If I'm trying to heal I really don't ever use it.

You wallride to make yourself harder to hit so you can live longer healing your team, or to stall on the point staying alive until your team can get there, or to move faster so you can get to your team and heal them.

From what I can tell, you don't wall ride. You jump on the wall, and jump right off immediately. If you do it right, you get a huge speed boost in the direction you move off the wall. You can use this to hop from teammate to teammate, while being hard to hit.

People recommend binding mousewheel down to jump so you can do it right.

Because these are people who think Mercy's res is a "get out of jail free" card, and not a mechanic they actually have to think about.

When a Mercy tells you "die on point" it doesn't mean you have to die, it means if you die, make sure it's close together so she can res. But this is something that is always true.

That's not to say it's NEVER worth hiding as Mercy though, sometimes it is.

Why do I get bullied for picking Hungzo?

I used to be a mercy main, but I'm transitioning to lucio. Anyways, you don't hide all the time. Most of the time you should be with your team, keeping them alive. If you do it right, there shouldn't be a need to hide.

However, sometimes it is appropriate to hide. When you hear an ult and you realize that your team is fucked, get out of there, and then come back and rez them. With situational awareness, you can figure out when you should hide.

Ana, mainly because I try to be able to play as at least 2 people in each category.

The conventional wisdom on a topic can be wrong if, as with Mercy players, the majority of the people who deal with this topic are fucking morons.

Another example: most people who go to casinos will tell you shit about hot streaks, and bitch about the dealer doing things that fuck with their concentration and take them "out of the zone." Things that they absolutely believe are real, meaningful, and will help them make money.
A sane person who goes to a casino will know, literally just double your bet every time that you lose until you win, and (assuming that you actually stop at that point instead of keeping on going) you will come out on top.
