>we want the black redneck audience

>it's only okay when GM does it

Here's the problem with that though. GM twins offer base work trims and top of the line luxury trims. This is why the Lincoln Mark was short lived.

So buy an F-150 if you want a cheap truck. Who the fuck wants a Lincoln fleet truck?

I never SAID I wanted a cheap truck. I only pointed out why the Lincoln Mark was an utter failure because they sold it as a $50k city boy luxo-truck.

Why is this weird?
The town car and crown Vic are literally twins.

They do that with the Sierra and did that with the Escalade EXT, and those things sold like hotcakes.

In fact when they discontinued the Lincoln they simply introduced the F-150 Limited which was nearly as expensive, and it started selling like hotcakes, too.

I figure the kind of person that wants a super expensive luxury pickup wants the "rugged, workman" image the Ford badge gives. The Platinum or Reserve or King Ranch or whatever works perfectly for them.

The Navigator is a wholly different vehicle. It's for people who want a 'normal' luxury car, but want it absolutely huge.

>. It's for people who want a 'normal' luxury car, but want it absolutely huge.
Imagine looking at all 220 inches of a Town Car and saying, no, I want it BIGGER.

Town Car hasn't been sold in years.

The Navigator is basically all the luxury of the Continental (or S-class or whatever) but with three adult-sized rows. People don't buy it because it can tow or offroad.

Official car of chainsaw decapitations.

I am European, but even i know that these cars are being driven by Mexicans.

It sold extremely well in Mexico. They're popular with rich farmers. It even got a second generation in the Mexican market. You could actually get it with a long bed and heavy duty suspension there.

It will probably get another generation in Mexico too, to compete with the hyper luxury Rams and the new Mercedes pickup.

The Town Car was sold longer than the Mark LT was, which is in the OP and is not a Navigator.

>Denali is still around
>Mark whatever the fuck isn't
They must of done something right.

> hyper luxury Rams and the new Mercedes pickup
Did the stupid luxury king ranch f-150's not make it down there?

>el infierno
Very nice.

The Mercedes pickup is just a Nissan rebadge.

Whoever made that meme needs to learn how not to use red text on everything.
Can't read shit.
Beaners, am I right?

Even better.
Mexiburgers love Nissan.

>Mercedes badge and interior
>Nissan proven 4x4 tech and repair costs
So what's the downside?

This is the funny thing because Lincoln Navigator was the first. The Lincoln trucks were simply ugly. And I think the SUV fell behind because Lincoln put so much effort into making it look like a not expedition instead of focusing on luxury or engine power. Escalade didn't bother hiding it's routes, they gave it more powerful engines and fancier suspension.

Back end would need to be fixed, looks awful

That's a minivan that's had its back bit chopped

The earlier Navigators did have more power, they had the DOHC Modulars in multiple Lincoln vehicles while outside of fringe cases (Mach 1, Marauder, etc) the Ford and Mercury versions were limited to the SOHC versions, back when the dual-cam Modulars were advertised with the InTech name.

I know that, but then it became an option, then it went away completely

thats not real

>supercab lincoln pickup

That would be.......................... interesting.

>Escalade didn't bother hiding it's routes
Especially the early ones since it just looked like a Denali Yukon with a caddy badge slapped on a new grill.

>luxury
>truck?
Fucking why? Trucks are for work and getting dirty. This is as dumb as when city dwellers buy lifted offroaders.

>go muding
>let car stay caked in mud
>mud traps moisture
>rusts the frame and body
>this kills the car

People who LEAVE mud on their car as a sign that they somehow aren't a poser are fucking smooth brains. That truck will last far longer then that car

Luxury truck because people who use their truck for work know its their office.

Cowboy Morpheus approves

Honestly if your car has shit paint than you should probably junk it anyway.
