Went to woods last night with nothing but f1 grenades.

Threw one made at a dude I saw in some trees, run the fuck away to avoid the insanely huge blast radius.
Looted a silenced sks with pso and a fully kitted ak. Sprint straight for the exit managed to make it out. The stats screen showed that I killed 3 lvl 31-50 USEC's didn't even see the other fuckers. F1 nades are so retardedly op

Don't know what you mean by that, but it's $45 to play right now, and if you really love it you can always upgrade to a higher package.

Well I guess I know why everyone uses the mak.

I managed to loot a couple of tokarevs and about 6 mags off dead scavs, I'm hesitant to take the tokarev out on a raid because the mags are so much harder to come by

You can buy a tokarev take the mag out and sell it back, if you're in a pinch.
I always insure my mags and put them in pocket and not a vest, as most players rarely search pockets.

This happened to me. Saw a hatchet, friendly wiggled at him figure I give him some mercy.

Bitch tosses a grenade at my feet. No idea how I survived at all but 3 of my 4 limbs were completely destroyed. I went prone. He comes out thinking he scored big I guess and gets a consolation prize of a full mag of 5.45mm to the chest.

I hunkered down until I was pretty sure all the other players had left woods and then limped my ass to the exit.

this is every new players experience. Trust me the 5 games you played just now, you are going to look back at them and all the flaws of this game and just laugh. You're going to stick to the game even with all the shitty desync and unplayable lag because no other game compares and its obvious what the devs need to do but you aren't sure if the devs are going to do them but there is that chance.

what the fuck is the grach a meme. I could just use a makarov and deal double damage but half the ammo in the clipazine. Is it even worth having 18 ammo and a flashlight or should I just sell it to buy TTs or makarovs. Did the devs fuck up or are we getting better ammo for this meme weapon in gamescon update. It makes sense for the kline since its full auto.

I don't understand why 9x19 is so vastly inferior currently. Why run a grach or p226 if the TT and mak just shit over them damage wise?

You get new animations when your gun mastery goes up?

Yeah, at least that's the intention. I'm not sure if the animations are currently implemented (I believe they are), but basically mastery gives you new animations that are more or less faster as well as when you do that checking your ammo button, it'll give you a more exact number.

Sorry user, those features are not in yet.

I really hope they find a way around the unity issue with fps drops when scoping in because dropping down to 30 fps when I try to snipe someone is awful.

This is just getting me more excited. I hope that Battlestate starts releasing some major updates after gamescom. The "beta" update was very underwhelming.

The games honestly barely any different from alpha.

The only difference from alpha to beta was the addition of half of the shoreline map.

Got a squad wipe on some newbies chillin by lighthouse extraction on Shoreline. I had heard shots (it was them killing the scavs) when I was near the grenade case between gas station and bus stop and started sprinting over immediately. Was pretty surprised to find a whole team. Honestly, I fucked up near the end with that guy in the back and should have taken a lot of damage if not been killed by him. I was looking under the fence not where he was at first, which is why I didn't spot him when I should have.

Would you wonderful faggots say that this game is worth it right now? Can you play with friends? Can one at least get...20 hours of enjoyment in it's current state?

That depends on you and whether or not the game looks appealing to you. I've gotten a solid 50 or so hours out of it in the last couple weeks, and I'm sure I'll be getting a lot more. Yes, you can play with friends, but you don't spawn all together and there's nothing to distinguish your friends from your enemies besides good communication.

Also, keep in mind, that it's not really a beta as there are a LOT of features still missing from the game. The biggest change from alpha to beta was the addition of half of a map and nerfed availability of the OP Fort armor.

At first I thought I made a mistake but then I played it myself and its basically gambling and FPS combined. I'm getting value out of it and will most likely keep playing it because no other fps game gets emotion out of me. Between having to use sound instead of a mini map and a shotgun shot or grenade going off in absolute quietness scaring the fuck out of you and making your heart race or the rage of dying so you losing another of your favorite weapon is pretty good.

If you aren't convinced from what you can look up and read about or from videos to see its features then you should wait. desu just wait for the next sale or the next content update during gamescon. The tarkov segment isn't until the 23rd. They will probly put up another sale for like a week for gamescon.

If you do end up getting it, be prepared to get shit on until you get good. There's a steep learning curve, but if you're good at FPS games, you'll catch on pretty quick.

It already has the interest. So there's like a local voice chat or are you stuck to using outside programs to talk to other people? Well hopefully soon I'll get this fuggin job and be able to get it while it's on sale. I feel like I need something radically different that what I'm used to. Plus some of the stories I read here can be funny and seem pretty intense.

No local voice chat. its insanely easy to confuse your friends that you grouped up with and accidentally kill them because there are only like 4 different character models or something and you can't directly chat and friendly fire is always on. Although they are working on cosmetic update which I assume is changing your clothes. Alternatively you can do something like havbe your friends wear some kind of visible equipment like the superman cap and glasses or some kind of combination that makes it obvious that its your bro.

desu the game is a skeleton right now and you'll get de sync/lag issues like every fourth raid. Even with this I'm getting value out of it. I just like it because I feel like I shitposting this game into creation. Always butthurt as fuck that I can't put slugs and buck shots into my shotgun in the order of my choosing. Like I can have a shotgun in every other game and its just a shotgun with buckshot and thats it. No interaction with the types of ammo, or slugs, and when you reload you reload the entire clip while having them magically carry to the next clip. Like the actual clip being an actual object is such a step up.

desu just the entire way this game handle shotgun just btfos every other fps game out there. Its basically EVE online but the FPS version.
