I've tried every single skill, and these are all the ones that make the discs come back. Most of them aren't too practical, but it makes the discs a nice backup, or just an amusing way to finish someone off. If you really want to know the most notable ones, here's a short list (I wanted to make a gigantic list of timecodes in the description, but Youtube said no):

0:58 - Mighty Explosive Wave
3:17 - Shining Friday
3:29 - Death Slicer (Of course)
4:44 - Teleporting Vanishing Ball
4:54 - Soul Punisher
5:04 - Meteor Burst

Even after trying them all, I still have no clue what decides whether or not DDS works for them. I do know that not even one strike move worked, so they can go fuck themselves for making me try them all to learn that.

No, they're pretty warm.

It's actually incredible, it makes the damn ball hit even without needing a break, and just looks so good.

It does basically require a heavy break for the setup to land it reliably though, since you have to toss the discs, then immediately hit with the ball's startup.
