What blood sacrifice must I make for Shirahoshi this sugo?
Someone decide for me, should I do singles or multis if I play to pull as long as it takes until I get a Neptune?
On the one hand I could get him within the first few singles, but if it takes 50 singles I will miss some guaranteed golds for the same gem usage.
On the other hand it would be a total waste of 45 gems to get him on the first multi together with 10 silvers.

For the person that wanted to know cc for Magellan.
I have Magellan and I recommend rcv and Atk or rcv Atk hp.
The reason is that the Atk doesn't help to reach the max sooner, but can help to deal more damage on the first 3 turn.
A practical example is for Sabo Kai raid. I used a double Magellan team and you use the poison on the stage 4. A no Atk cc Magellan needs 3 turn to kill this stage, while one with cc needs just 2. So here it's not an issue since you can just damage with normal attack, but that's the kind of situation where you would want Atk cc.

Don't pull, pulling units isn't as easy as you think. Every single unit is in the pool, you could waste 300 gems and not get a single Neptune.

I'll probably multi just cause my accounts fairly fresh and its nice to have dreams till you remember its a gacha.
It's been so long since I've done a multi-pull and I do want Shirahoshi and Neptune so I'll give it one go. I hate silver posters though. Why must they be a thing?
Could you just use all of your gems on farming and maxing out raid and coli characters without ever pulling?
Using good friend captains would your teams be good enough to clear absolutely everything or would you hit a wall?

you could in theory, but some RRs have unique specials that are hard to sub in for f2p units
I don't play the japanese version but from what I've seen on gamewith most F2P options for newer content involve having a legend friend and are not very reliable.
Considering the same captain system, unless you have the specific friends you want refreshing their captains for you, you won't be able to keep farming really fast.
I think everything in the game can be done with a F2P team. Free spirit / driven teams are especially strong
