My engine.
My vehicle doesn’t have any form of sound system/radio/tape deck.
Drive soundtrack
on roadtrips, podcasts. around town, whatever i'm feeling at the moment.
I go through cycles.
One month I'll listen to 80s, the next I would listen to classical, then oldies, then power metal, and so on.
Now I'm listening to Therion's new 3 hour album they released this month. I'm not as impressed as I was when they released Sitra Ahra.
Bump
Classical
garbage 80s schlock, it just seems like natural driving music, ambient, fun and a bit shit
The engine.
But if I'm in a traffic jam, the news.
>'99 model.
Music created before 1999, or just my engine.
Retrowave that uses soft synths and analog, not that harsh shit like Miami Nights 1984.
I listen to a lot of 70s rock partly because I learned to drive before CD players were standard kit or MP3 players even existed and the classic rock station was the only local station worth listening to so I have a strong nostalgic connection to it.
Also it was the first era of great driving music, IMO.
I've got like 5 Kanye albums in my car so one of those, or a random CD that I've burned
nice digits
i listen to my open downpipe
Dubstep nigga
Grind, math, sludge, doom, death
Anything to drown out my electronically enhanced i4t drone

Depends the mood
Techno, ripped tracks from racing video games, v a p o r w a v e , 80s new wave/synthpop, and golden age rap
This is my Sim City jam, I always pull this up as I drive into the city, no shit. Its pretty fitting youtube.com
95.5 KLOS
Ruki Vverh or any other dance music released between 1995 and 2010. Its pretty nostalgic yet fun.

Anything fast and catchy
This and the like
Synthwave, electro industrial, and industrial techno mainly. Been listening to Judas Priest and Scorpions again lately to remind myself to keep an eye out on tour dates so I can take my dad to another of their concerts for his birthday. Might be the last time since they're all so fucking old now.
quints checked
French house / Nu Disco. Like the funky electro/disco sound from Random Access Memories except an entire genre.
Unironically this.
Vaporwave or "105.5 Columbus' only REAL classic ROOOCK"
I wish I had a Godmachine to go with it.
