I never really buy the US Law thing. I understand it on servers that actually host porn like Veeky Forums, but the solution is to ban anyone confirmed to be underage (like plaptine was) or to simply not host the materials. If two Veeky Forums players want to bump virtual uglies thats one thing. The playerbase of Veeky Forums is typically not that bad. But you start bringing the attention of the server towards those who populate say, Vore, and then we have an influx of shitters that make Leonid look like Frank White.
Why it makes little sense to ban it among ourselves, opening the door to the flood of yiff isnt what I think any player really wants.

well we're already on the same level as bay in a lot of ways. We have plenty of whiners that cry whenever they die to antags and try to make the game extended every round and some even pretend to RP. Allowing ERP wouldn't suddenly make the community any more like bay than it already is
