Ive got an Accord wagon in Sherwood Metallic Green. Dont have any pics of mine, but it is much nicer than pic related.

The Acura NSX in Sherwood green and 7 spoke aluminum wheels is pure sex, Ill see if I can find a pic of the one Im thinking of.

Green has been considered an unlucky colour in the west for a very long time now, dating back to the 1700s when arsenic was used in the manufacture of green clothing. When the cloth got wet it could release toxic gases, arsenic is long gone from the colour but the tradition of it being unlucky remains.

I think it's not quite that so deliberate. People just seems to like neutral colours, it's a safe choice. You might get sick of red, mica blue or (god forbid) purple, whereas shades and tints sorta 'go' with everything.

Bright red only looks right on small coupes and hatchbacks. Sadly, people don't buy too many of those anymore.

Reason why you don't see many green cars. Or at least in the UK is because there's a bs superstition that they are bad luck. Apparantly this stems from years ago when there were no motorways and everyone had to drive country lanes and cars had crap lights and so on and they were harder to see.

Just seem moot to compare a car that was already pre established as red and had a one year green version to other cars that are normally produced green or offered in green. There are cars that are offered stock green or only in green, M edition seems like a tired exception.

I thought BRG only worked on cars with a lot of chrome to contrast it for the longest time. (so mostly classics)
But I keep seeing modern cars in a similar shade of green and to me it works 8/10 times.
Bonus point if the car had to be special ordered

Tried to do something similar with my Triumph, was originally in black with scuffs and scratches, so repainted it, would've liked a bit darker but I think it came out ok.

well, it has a manual transmission, crank windows, working air conditioning, and a cassette deck that plays tapes too fast and makes Bob Marley sound like he's breathing helium.

Those steelie rims are from the lowest trim level, aka "Pony" Escort. Mine isn't the cheapo Pony, but I like those wheels better than the swirly hubcaps it originally came with.
