I mean, you have Big Brother (Pomf), the never-seen, possibly fictitious character that everyone is taught to idolize, you have a culture of snitching that's bred into people from the day they're born ("Remember to ahelp LITERALLY EVERYTHING" t. admins), with basically everything expected to rat on their fellow man (See point "AHELP EVERYTHING"), you've got your ingrained hatred of Goldstein (Other servers and players from other servers being derided and hated to the point that even mentioning them sneds people into fits of rage, although admittedly, nobody wants Hippie or TG around here for good reason.), and you have a fairly proles-outer party-inner party setup, with the Proles being normal players, Outer Party being the Metaclub members and lower class admins, Inner Party being the headmins/higher up """OG""" admins, with the Inner Party occasionally having people fall from the good graces of their comrades and "kept around" until they fade away and have a bullet put straight into the back of their head in secret.
It's kinda spooky, although it's also fairly easy to draw parallels to 1984 no matter what the situation is.

Good thing this isn't real life and is, instead, a video game where if you don't like the way they do things you can just leave and never come back and everything's fine and you'll never have to worry about it again
