All Ink Armor needs is to remove the short invincibility period while the armor itself is breaking.

It's only capable of doing what it does if it has range, because otherwise it can't slosh over stuff. Every time it aims up to slosh over a wall, it shortens its range.

What it's capable of doing is outranging all of the close-range weapons in the game, while offering better kits than most of them. The Tri fit perfectly into the game back when it was slightly outranged by all the SMG-like guns.

Rollers are far from helpless, and chargers shouldn't be fighting at ranges where an armor player can hit them back in the first place. The instakills were in dire need of some rebalancing, and armor does exactly that.

I think the problem's not that it's too OP to counter, just that it sort of invalidates and does the same job better than like 5 different weapons.

no damage up means weapons won't do stupid damage so it would be fine if it raised your health to say 200 or something

Make it just bonus health instead of something like Subatitute in Pokemon. Buff blaster directs, Squiffer and Goo shots and roller swings to 130 max damage (most are 125 right now) and call it a day.

Rapid Pro was probably one of the most forgettable weapons in Sploon 1. Hope it sees use in this game.

Rapid never got any range boosts, it was always stepping on 3-liners toes. You suckers need to sort your shit and actually look at what they were like in Splat1. The only range changes in 2 are Dynamo, Carbon, Eliter, Heavy, Squiffer and the 2-liner trio that got nerfed range, and Octobrush that did indeed get it buffed. Everything else is the exact same.

Charger instakills were never a problem, people complained against half charges. Now they're completely gone.
People complained about rollers because of shit net and the horizontal flick being a little too stong (damage up again), now both of these issues are fixed.
Rollers and chargers are pretty much fine as is, rollers are even too weak. Add ink armor to the mix and they're worthless pieces of shit.

The problem ALWAYS was damage up stacking. Chargers outranged every other weapon and were still good in close quarters thanks to damage up.
Now splatting people getting the jump on you is a real challenge, and you actually have to play intelligently. Chargers are fine now, high risk high reward.

Well yes, in Splat1 it was trash, with custom's bubbler being the only reason to use one over either Range or Luna. In 2 they got some use because they're not as vastly outranged as they were before, but accuracy nerf really fucks them up, chewing up the little mobility they had because you can't just dolphin around anymore.

Rollers already had zero reason to roll you stupid shitter. Of course it's the worst players complaining about something so easily countered.

62 damage with no damage falloff whatsoever. You can hit someone from as far as the weapon can reach and you will still hit them for 62 damage, making it a two hit kill from any range. The only damage falloff it was is when you use the slosher from a location that's higher than your enemy. On top of that, one burst bomb + one shot from the slosher is enough to kill nearly everyone since nobody runs bomb resist.

No
