How do you learn to counter/respond to a certain move? Let's say Law keeps throwing out a kick that's really fucking me up. Is it just a matter of knowing what moves I have in my arsenal that can respond to that scenario? I feel like there are times when I'm not learning as much I could during the actual fight. Where I'll keep eating the same shit even when I'm trying new things, but not adapt to it properly until maybe the next Law or two comes around.

Why are scrubbs so unnecessarily aggro? I want to practice King's grabs in actual matches, but I'm forced to use shit like stagger kicks because they always feel like pressuring and I don't know how to punish all characters in the game yet
