Also, don't trust Oversumo's "placement" of your per-hero stats when you have so little playtime on them. It really inflates the placement. It'll start to become more reliable when you have multiple hours played on a hero.

Rip Overwatch for me.

I came to 2900 with Mercy with a win rate of 80 % easily.

Now I get matched with retarded who can't do damage and I'm now in Gold again... Blizzard has also made Mercy mains as good as impossible to climb anymore.

You get matched so you lose more than 50 % of you games and you lose at least 20 sr every time. Also the sr gain is capped at around 30. Which means that even in the best possible outcome you only get around 10 sr on average... But in some games you get stumped so hard, that you lose like 40 sr even if you give your best...

Now you can only climb as a damage dealer or if you have a carry as a Mercy out of elo hell. Blizzard knows exactly how to manipulate every match to make it impossible for you to get out of plat.

Yeah, I know every Mercy trick, how to balance between boost and heal, who to focus, where to hide, how to abuse the Mercy mechanics. I also get a lot 4 of 5 people resurections. Every time I play with an aggressive team who can aim I ALWAYS stump the enemy, but if the team can't aim and at least 3 people are don't knowing how to play their heroes, I can't do anything with Mercy.

Thanks to Blizzard putting me in the loser teams I have seen all. Pharah who can't hit shit. McCree who can't hit a flash banged Tracer... constantly! A Tracer who can only die. A Winston who shields before he jumps only to die after he lands. A Reinhardt who only holds his shield up. But the most common thing is a Dva FUCKING UP EVERY TIME YOU NEED HER FUCKING MATRIX (never protects against Pharah, Reaper, McCree ult). Also extremely common is a useless Ana who doesn't do shit and a Genji who rushes into the enemy just to die and only gets like one kill after he activates his ult. I forgot to mentions THIS WERE ALSO THEIR OWN MAINS: It's not like I talk about other Mercy mains who had to switch. I talk about people who are so retarded and came into plat but can't play their one trick at all.

iirc they give out less per end season due to the season itself being shorter, as to why you get more per win. If your curious each season is 2 months instead of 3.

Yeah I know it dramatically inflates placements but I only use it as an sr/time played tracker. For what it's worth I play a mid-diamond Winston on console. I placed in plat this season on xbone. But I vividly remember gaining 81 SR FOR ONE WIN on pc after placements. I've known about sr boost after placements but never that ridiculous.

On one hand, it probably thinks you're not playing grouped up ie. a mei who sticks with her team freezing people who get close is less likely to get solo kills
On the other hand, playing a sort of flanker Mei killing off stragglers and (hopefully) staggering spawns well enough that they can never have a full push sounds better in a practical sense

it's not like placement matches actually change your mmr more than other rounds, there's no point to them
