Just bought a e46 320i, what am I in for?

Just bought a e46 320i, what am I in for?

you're in for regrets that you didn't get at least a 325i

A cracked coolant expansion tank on the motorway leading to all you coolant pissing out and your engine cooking.

Can happen at any time, for any reason.

nah I think it's enough. more into cruising anyways
any ways to prevent this? or spot the problem before it happens?

Have the expansion tank replaced the moment you get it with a new one. Its the plastic that weakens over time.

A very slow car
Plastic water pump
Nickel and dime

>petrol BMW
Jesus Christ just kys, they literally design these cars with a diesel engine because they weigh a gorillion tons, you're going to hate yourself every time you try to get it moving.

except the petrol e46's weigh notably less than diesels and are all faster than their diesel counterparts
kys

A life of cuckoldry because you bought the small engine

If you have to use throttle to make your car move, you have no torks

boredom and shit reliability

a 328i has the same torque as a 320d (and 60hp more)

Does the e39 have the same weekneses as the e46?

Some of them, but suspension parts and rust protection are stonger. Also the attitude of the previous owners and trim levels are nicer on average.

Plus an E39 isn't even that much bigger or heavier than a E46 or E90 with similar spec

There must be an aftermarket solution that isnt plastic, right ?

Comment on YouTube video M3 is best car bro

Fuck Israel

not worth it
the plastic ones are dirt cheap and last about 15 years

Stop talking if you don’t know a thing about these cars

Sure, Ivan, I don't know shit about my own car.

>he didnt even get the 330

Broken rear springs (caused by worn out dampers), dank parking brake and small leaks. At least you got it in manual, right?
