Part of AMC's Concept 80 series of mock-ups from 1977. It was going to be a turbo charged micro van with a 4WD option. Unfortunately AMC didn't actually have the money to develop it. It did set AMC on the idea of the 4WD Eagle though.

I did own one and it was a massive turd. Loved the versatile and compact body style. Hated the godawful a/t and 4g64. Motor barely made any power and tranny slipped constantly. Eventually rust ate it out and it went to a junkyard. Kinda miss it because it was my first car,but I'm under no delusions that it was a good one. Kinda wish I could have done a 4g63 swap but the rust was just too advanced. Shame they're so rare nowadays.
