What are the other single shot rifles like the Latron? Are any of them actually "good"?

I don't really like automatic rifles, semi-autos are okay, but I love single fire bolt-action-esque sort of rifles, but don't like sniper rifles.

Is there any way or weapon that can make the disgusting pile of wet dogshit called Mag at least usable on most situations? tried with the gas lanka and is still dull as fuck, then de detron and still dogshit, then the Supra and that weapon sometimes works amazing and sometimes sucks balls.
