What do you listen to while driving? Do you go for night drives on the weekends? What kind of soundsystem do you have in your car?(what kind of car radio, subwoofer or not, etc etc.) EDM/bassfags are welcome.
If you want to post only music is the thread for you.
I used to when I was younger, got kids now so night driving doesn't happen often. My stereo was >Alpine 9835 >Focal Utopia 165w in the front >Pioneer TSA6995 6x9's in the back >Vibe Blackair 12" sub >Zapco Studio 300x driving the Focals >Some Kicker 400w D class driving the Vibe >Dynamat all over All old gear now but at the time retail in Aus dollarydoos was about $5k when I installed it all.
Generally I'm a metalhead, this was always a fav driving though. >dailymotion.com/video/x2za8zg Damn song is blocked as shit on YT in Ausfagland.
>Pic same but not mine.

Where do you put the speakers?
Zachary Morgan
I've never heard proper vehicle speakers. Can you actually hear music when you're driving on the freeway?
Gavin Evans
Aftermarket smaller speakers sound like shit. Unless you have stock ones in your car. Mine has everything stock except the car radio and subwoofer stereo is the Pioneer -X5900BT And a random german active subwoofer that is supposedly 1,3kw but i dont know. It has enough bass for my A3 and i listen mainly to whats in the OP.
William Perez
>20 ton subwoofer >0.3 ton amplifier >geniuine hardwood panelling over concrete floor
fuck off comfyfags, racing is the only true form of car enthusiasm
Isaiah Mitchell
>racing is the only true form of car enthusiasm >Ree stop liking what i dont like
Alexander Flores
lol that's like an 8in in a shitty prefab box. 40lbs max including amp. less than a spare
Luis Bennett
Depends on the setup, a proper setup with a properly calibrated stereo equalizer sounds great, sound has its weight but its also clear and smooth without high pitching crusty frequencies on the letters S for example in rap.
Majority of the normies however just crank the subwoofer to max and use a stock preset on their stereo.
Caleb Cox
Unless you mean car noise interfering with your music.
>What do you listen to while driving? Metal, classic rock, more metal. >Do you go for night drives on the weekends? No. Waste of time and fuel, and you can't see shit on unlit roads. I ride my motorbike in the daytime, but the only music is VROOOOM. >What kind of soundsystem do you have in your car?(what kind of car radio, subwoofer or not, etc etc.) It's a 2011 Ford Focus Zetec, and all I've done is set the speakers to direct sound at the driver (me), and adjust the equaliser. It sounds good enough to not bother replacing the system and risk disabling all the other systems tied into it. >EDM/bassfags are welcome. No they fucking aren't.
Logan James
>Aftermarket smaller speakers sound like shit. Wut?
Yes, I could comfortably listen to music on the highway with the windows down.
Leo Gonzalez
>dadrock >sometimes if I'm feeling down >nothing but the OEM speakers in the dash and doors, I need my trunk space >bassfags eat fuck
Elijah Ortiz
I used to think this was so cool
Jayden Butler
why the FUCK is there wood in the back
Blake Gutierrez
The sound is too grainy 90% of the time even when you adjust the upper frequencies on your stereo. Its cool until you have to place something in the trunk or have children. Or you want to kidnap someone.
racing >all about driving cars at the maximum of their potential >risking your life and your car every time you race >literally paying with your life to enjoy driving
muh comfyfagging bass wubuwbuwbu >lolmao my living room couch is so comfy >wish i could listen to my wubdub while I drive to get groceries
youre pathedic
Kayden Young
cheap 3$ subwoofer, at least its better than nothing

yes. I drive a car that rattles and squeeks a bit but I can still hear the radio fine because my car has good quality speakers.
Christopher Torres
are you a romanian by chance?
Isaac Hughes

Kayden Wood
yes, I would love to suck you off and catch some STDs
Henry Ramirez
Then you are doing something wrong my man.
Gabriel Wright
As i am the user you quoted about lack of trunk space. That wasn't a problem at all. The trunk in that Buick is huge. Even with the subs i easily fit enough things for me and 3 friends to go camping for a 4 day weekend.
Easton Clark
I drive a 2007 suzuki sx4. Stock stereo and door speakers with an aftermarket 10" powered sub under my seat.
Im a musician and huge audiophile, and honestly that sub has improved my driving experience more than anything else. Fills in the bottom end that the stock system didnt have and provides substantial thump when im listening to rap and stuff
Adam Harris
>Calls himself an audiophile >Has stock speakers, and a low profile sub Yeah, nah.
Asher Hill
>what do you listen to while driving im not too picky on what I listen to, but i fucking hate the radio stations here, they play the same 8 songs over and over and over, so I have a USB drive with around 8gigs of songs, everything from ac/dc, to amon amarth, some country songs on there like george straight, and some eminem and what not.
>do you go for night drives on the weekends sometimes, not often though, I do a lot of trail driving on the weekends when its light out though
>what kind of sound system do you have? - Amp and Subs Audison SR1DK amp driving 2 kicker S10L7's (pic related) - Speakers 4 auditor 6x9's mounted in the doors, stock speakers were 6x8's but some fag at work told me I couldnt put them in the stock speaker holes... well a few hours of grinding and getting pissed later they were in -Head unit Kenwood KDC-BT855U

1 of 4 Auditor 6x9's Drivers Side door.
Liam Evans
Jesus fucking Christ, this setup.
Jason King
2 of 4 Passenger side. I was giving a nigger I worked with a ride home and he ripped off the mid and tweeter trying to open my door... I was angry, but that gave me the excuse to replace them with rockford fosgate 6x9s I cant remember the number. On top of that my amp has recently started going into protect mode so im going to try and figure out what's going on with that.
Anthony Martinez
3 of 4 in the third door. the last one is behind the speaker grille in the amp picture.
Jacob Wood
yeah, some hack job butchery was required, but they fit... the rockford fosgate 6x9's I got are much larger than the auditor 6x9's so I might try my hand at some fiberglass work with the door panel's in the front, I have 2 of them mounted up already in the rear though and they sound pretty good on just deck power, once I get them installed im going to be buying a 400w 4 channel amp to drive them.
Pic related, the 6x9's
Ian James
I am also very poor
Alexander Scott
I've been listening to RnB (mostly pre 2010) lately. I have a habit of singing my heart out while driving
